I've been learning to play the uke for about 6 weeks, mostly with you! i'm 74 years of age and a 'D' level guitar player! Really enjoyed this tutorial, great stuff! Name?... Letting go... :)
Anne Boleyn, Henry V111's queen, had a musician who played to her on his lute, and for whom she had great regard. This little tune reminds me of that scene in the series about Henry and his court. Wulfs Hall, on television here in the UK.

Love that tutorial. I've been playing with that little interlude since you posted it, and with a couple of 'pull offs' it now sounds like like something LED Zeppelin would have written for The Hobbit (if they'd been asked!). You sir, are fantastic.
Nice little tutorial Kevin, as a rank beginner its a nice introduction. As for the music piece itself it sounds like an interlude or background piece for a scene in Game of Thrones or something similar. Keep up the good work
Nice tutorial. I'm not sure what to call the music piece, but sounds a lot like something played on the lute (renaissance). It does make me think of a sunny winter's day.
Love this series. As with all the others It's well done and easy to follow along. I have looked at my Circle of Fifths poster a zillion times and never really gotten it. Now it's all so clear. You do need to change your onscreen chart of the C major scale from I to ii not I for D minor however. That was confusing at first.
Great intro to chord melody. Thanks for that. One question though: if you have a melody given in key of C, how do you arrange for the appropriate chord in the intervals?
Thanks for watching, Toby. What kind of ukulele do you play? I'm having a blast teaching and learning more about chord melody. - Kevin | allfourke.com/lessons
I played piano first. I'm so used to the consecutive notes as opposed to the scattered notes on the uke. I'm struggling to remember it on the uke lol 😂
Hey Rich - more baritone on the horizon in Feb. Anything in particular you're looking for? We have a fingerpicking series, barre chord series, strumming series and a ton of songs on my site. Maybe a chord melody series for baritone? Thanks for learning with me! - Kevin | allforuke.com
I just bought a baritone ukulele and I am confused about playing with others on a concert or tenor ukulele. My baritone is tied correctly but I don’t know how to read the music. Do I use their same music or do I transpose it? Please help. Thanks so much. I love your style of teaching.
It’s a different key. A C chord is still a C chord on either a baritone or a tenor, but they are fretted differently. Or, you can put a capo on the 5th fret of the baritone, and finger it exactly like you do on a soprano, concert, or tenor ukulele.

I can't believe how much I've grown with this instrument by watching your videos. Thank you so much for teaching us ❤️

I feel like a "troubadour" when I play this. So thank you Kevin!
Thank you Kavin for this beautiful lesson
An excellent tutorial. Reminded me of classical guitar. A big thank you, Kevin.
Maybe the melody is like something that would be played in the King's court!

Wow!! Thank you. This was so much fun!!
A wonderful tutorial and a very cute melody - I'd call it "Floating water"

Absolutely beautiful . Thnx and gratitude.
Very pleasant melody. Sounds very medieval

Love this comment!
Oh so stoked to learn this
Thar was a wonderfully satisfying lesson. Loved the composition “Solstice”
Everything about this was excellent!
It remind me of a falling leaf in the autum ♡

Well done Buddy. Simple, concise and so easy. Even I can understand this concept 😄
Love it!
thank you for this beautiful melody! I would call it “Garden of King Arthur’s Castle” 🌹

You such a good teacher,, 😜
Merci.
Loved the lesson 👍🏻💟
Thank you! 😃

I picture this being played in the Basilica de Santa Lucia del Trampal in Spain way back in the day....
Great lesson 🙏🙏

At 4:44, on the chart at the bottom of the screen, Dm should be ii, not I.
We've noted the mistake in the description. There was an unfortunately glitch in the video export after rendering. Thanks for catching it Al - KP

Hello, thanks for this tutorial. I would name it 'soft touch'. I look forward to the next tutorial.
Well I wish I could join your channel
Definitely medieval times!
In the chart, the second I is in fact ii (Dm). A name for the song? Autumn Leaves.
What is the privilege to be a membership, I just sign up? Thank
Big fan frome Bangladesh ❤❤
I probably missed it but why are some chords minor and others major? And is there a trick to knowing which notes make up the different chords?
Can you do another series for the Baritone?

Just took a closer look at your playlist and found some Baritone sessions I haven't seen before. Love your content, thanks.

Great tutorial. I just got into chord melody and this video was very helpful
I think my first though was Medieval.
Another great tutorial - chord melody is starting to make sense to me! I would call Kevin's little song "Just a Sigh." Beautiful!
Good one! Thanks for tuning in :) - Kevin
How can I translate this for a baritone uke?
You make me feel ten foot tall, every time.
Reminds me of " The Princess Bride" 😃
