I would've gotten the socks for sure. Like you said- once it is washed, it's washed. And you aren't talking about old cotton sweat socks. You are talking about quality items with a lot of life left in them. Great haul. TFS.
Great finds today. I loved the LL Bean bedding set. I always wash clothing and linens I thrift with Lysol laundry sanitizer. It makes me feel more confident that they are truly clean. I would also turn the socks inside out to wash just to be sure they are thoroughly clean. I have a rental property and use the Lysol when washing linens between renters. I think it is a good extra to make sure I am delivering a nice clean home to my renters.
The Sox were worth getting, they are special, the sweaters brought back memories too, the set of dishes 8n the box for 19.99 would have been a good buy, the dishes that looked a little like limoges were not fine china so good call on that. Live you thrifts, commentary and your pets too Happy New Year
Some lovely finds - including the socks! If you aren't aware, Nicholas Mosse is a well-known Irish pottery maker who trained in England and Japan and established his eponymous company in Ireland in 1976 with his American wife, Susan, whose designs adorn their pottery. (I remember well when their then-new company emerged in the US, and it continues in operation in Ireland today.) The border around your lovely sweater shares the charming, primitive motifs typically found on their pottery and other items. Great find! Enjoy all of the nice items that you found, whether you decide to keep or sell them, and congrats on reaching 4K subscribers!

Socks, yea! I wish I kept my grandmother's 1940s and 50s dresses when she died 26 years ago. Vintage clothing is much better made, fabrics better quality. You scored!
Love the LL Bean comforter! I love floral bedding though it seems comforters and duvets are replacing floral bedsheets. Great find. Congratulations on your latest milestone!
Great haul!! I'm happy you're feeling better. I have a "concoction" of gain moo light breeze, Downey lavender scent beads, and lysol laundry sanitizer to wash my wool, linens, and thrift store textiles. I then hang outside in the fresh air and sunshine followed by a quick fluff in the dryer. I'm probably breaking every laundry rule, but so far its worked for me and everything smells great! Happy New Year!! I'm looking forward to more amazing videos from you in 2025!! 🎉

The smell in the sweater is probably mothball. Often you can’t smell it dry but it stinks when wet!
