My favorite part of the bible is we can avoid the tribulation by attending the wedding. In my opinion you would have to be CRAZY to miss the wedding feast and choose the tribulation.......YOUR INVITED!! THIS IS THE PARTY YOU DONT WANT TO MISS !!!! HE IS WAITING TO SHARE HIS WINE WITH YOU....HE HASNT HAD WINE SINCE LAST SUPPER, WAITING FOR US (@wedding party). HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE !!!!!!!!! Love the teaching Derek..
No, I believe v2,3 is talking about the resurrection of the righteous dead which will happen at the end of the Tribulation (see v13 for the timing of Daniel's resurrection). The general setting is Mid-Trib but God is saying that despite the Great Tribulation He will deliver Israel and save israel and even those righteous who die will be raised at the end. There is no mention of the rapture of the living here, because that is part of the Mystery (what was hidden in the Old Testament but revealed in the New). The rapture has to do with the closing of the church-age not events connected with israel in the Tribulation.
Bless you ………… Ecclesiastes 9:2 “All things come alike to all: there is one event to the righteous, and to the wicked; to the good and to the clean, and to the unclean; to him that sacrificeth, and to him that sacrificeth not: as is the good, so is the sinner; and he that sweareth, as he that feareth an oath.” John 5:29 “And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.” Acts 24:15 “And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.” One Event……. Bless you
I was disappointed to hear an exposition of the Song of Solomon in which no mention whatsoever was made of the Jewish people. Granted that we may take license to apply the metaphor to Christ and the Church, but initially this book was written nearly a thousand years before the Church and was a metaphor of the love between God (YHVH) and Israel. To neglect to mention this fact, even in passing, is a failure to give due honour and respect to Judaism and the Jews. Paul warned us to not boast against the root.
Love your teachings, God bless you, your family and your ministry.
Derek, so glad to have found your channel yesterday and your teachings and choice of scripture are such a blessing.
Will recommend!
