The show is so popular that it led to the spin-off, Below Deck Mediterranean, with another spin-off apparently in the works. However, despite all of the drama you see on screen, there is still a lot more that the cast of Below Deck has tried to keep - well - below deck.

Which Reality TV shows do you think are the fakest?
My favorite is Vanderpump Rules ....... but I think sometimes they are incredibly fake ...... especially anything involving James Kennedy .... he should have been in jail years ago. Stassi and Arianna are the 2 most interesting characters on the show.

The RH's are becoming soo fake. Yrs ago when they started they were good. Hate Kardashians- totally scripted & do reshoots. I.think the BD series are the best

Call me crazy, but I love Kate! Let’s be real, we watch this show for drama and entertainment. I love the fact that she knows this is business and she’s there to take care of the guests paying for her tip, not to be best friends with everyone on the boat.

@@OnBr0kenW1ngs in FL when cops are called for DV whoever doesn't have the worst injuries gets arrested. That's why Kate was. Apparently there were witnesses that spoke to the judge and that's why charges were dropped because Kate wasn't the aggressor.
Hannah is no Kate! Hannah makes Med unbearable. I love Captain Sandy but decided, if Hannah is back, Med. is over for me. I cannot watch Hannah’s disrespect of her crew; hundred Naps and Smoke Breaks, just poor work ethics.

I'm curious, what is larceny in the SIXTH degree? Striking a match? Granted Caroline wasn't stable, but it was exploitive to cast her and what carries more weight yet not mentioned once is Kate has three arrest records.

Capt lee, you told us , AND the IRS, how much your crew made in tips for the season.
IRS can't touch them for what they make on international waters. As long as they work on that boat their salary and tips are tax free. That is what I've read on multiple websites and what I was once told at a poker table while on a cruise.
I have had it with Kate's mean streak and Capt Lee's choice to not see her crap is tired. Open your eyes Captain. Its ruining respect for you in many ways
I used to love this show but after last season,I’m done. Kate acts like a spoiled brat and Lee just walked away. If it’s anyone else who did it they would have been fired.

I used to talk to Caroline on twitter and then on the phone in the winter of 2018. I then made a comment about her likely having ADD while defending her to another fan and Caroline wouldn’t speak to me again. People had said she was asking for money online and stuff but she never asked me for anything but to be be a listening ear. She knew that my family has a little bit of money so if she was gonna ask anyone for money, I would have assumed it would have been me.
I’m actually sad that she decided to cut me off like she did because she was fun to talk to and laugh with.
I’d have lee or sandy as cap. Kate and Josiah as stew 1 & 2. Chef would be the young guy from S6. Bosun? Eddie? 2nd guy would be the guy that saved Pienaar.

The biggest show about Yachts ever created. It's a horrible thing to the actual industry which is competing against the cruise ship industry because the lack of interest in getting on private odds. Unfortunately these paid actors that get on there to perform stunts of nudity and semi semi sexual deviants is not the onion community at all they would have been fired in personally I think the shot captains should never be employed again
