I love the deep convos Jason and Liz had here. She totally understands the business and Jason's lifestyle. She even understands how Sonny thinks and feels. What I love about this whole scene is that Jason actually asks her what she thinks he should do. Given that Jason is usually the one everyone goes to for that question, it's really nice to see that Jason felt comfortable enough with Liz to even ask her what he should do. That he could be that open and vulnerable with her and ask for advice on what he should do. We never really get to see Jason ask for help like that, because he's usually the one answering that question for other people. And he's usually never one to ask anyone what he should do. But with Liz, he lets his guard down so completely with her and is so open with her, that he always truly listens to whatever she has to say and truly values and respects her advice. I miss that bond between them! The writers really screwed up their whole friendship/bond that they had with each other when Steve left in 2012 and then came back in 2017.
