I ran across this again and how could some say that Elizabeth and Jason did not have chemistry, what they had chemistry together even before there was a Sam. Jason never looked at Sam the way he would look at Elizabeth and it does not matter how many love scenes they had together and look what happened they still ended up breaking Sam and Jason up anyway, that was a whole lot of bs going on, even SB wanted him and Elizabeth to be together, maybe before gh does its swan song that will happen. I really wish they would have given him and Elizabeth a real chance. Even if it was just for a few years and not them being the end game. They really do have a lot of history, friendship, loyalty and love. I don’t hate him with Sam but it just makes no sense that writers made up the reason he couldn’t ever be with Elizabeth when they both finally wanted and could be together is because of the danger yet he can be with Sam. At this point though they have drifted so far apart and the writers ignore all the history that him and Elizabeth have had and I don’t ever see a relationship between them happening again which really sucks.

As far as Liason goes, I’ll always root for them to have a chance as long as Steve and Rebecca remain on GH, but in order for that to happen, they would need to be new riders and this current regime doesn’t know how to write well for many of the couples that they already have.

It started as a friendship and grew. Liz was the only woman Jason ever saw a vision of just because he wanted to. I feel Liason had the better chemistry and I liked Jasam. I just liked Liason better. I will say this Genie Frances made the statement Liz and Jason were known on set as the next Luke and Laura in their early days. However, at this point I don't know how the show could ever sale Liason again even if they wanted to go there. It's not that I don't think liason were soulmates. It's that they just went too far in other direction to fix it. I do think if this show has a chance of surviving it needs a new vision!
Jason has his own memory of the most beautiful woman walking toward him jumping into his arms and then being shot and looking down at the blood on his hands. That happened to Sam. Robin is a terrible match maker. She wanted Jason and Liz together and Sonny and Brenda. Robin is the female Spinelli. The live in a fantasy world when it comes to love. They see love through rose colored glasses. Just loving a person is not enough. You have to have compatibility. If you don't, you're both trying to change to suit the other person and that's just gona make them both miserable. Brenda was always to mentally fragile for Sonny's world and Liz was trying too hard to fit into Jason's world because she wanted him so bad. Liz made the same mistake that Sam did when she and Jason got together the first time. They both changed who they were to accommodate Jason.
I am a Liason fan but I see your point. Liz and Brenda are like fairy tale Princesses who both fell in love with dark Princes instead of Prince Charmings. And yes Carly and Sam are more like the "ride or die bitches" who seem more suitable for the dark Princes however, opposites do attract and are very compatible. One correction to your statement, Brenda was never mentally fragile, she's just not the type to do what she's told without explanation. Brenda's actions are guided by morals and scruples both of which Carly is severely lacking, and though I like Carly, she's a foot soldier, do what she's told without questions.

I loved what Sonny said to jason about the woman that he loves walking to him and wanted to spend his life with her his love for/is liz it always was in some big way but in 2007,08 made it a reality in being together and with each other but the writers,tptb,fons,made it so that they had a really heartbreaking break up with so much chemistry,emotions between them jason was even crying like he did not want to do it again with liz because this time he had to do it and make it stick and made it permanent for them it was sad,unfair,not right because they deserved a real change to be together like they wanted to as a family.i mean sonny had that change with Carly marriage,kids and it stayed that way for a long time

Now if you asked me, Liason had a true build and a real story that was character based and driven. It was slow. They didn't move in and end up in bed together. It started as a friendship and grew. Liz was the only woman Jason ever saw a vision of just because he wanted to. I feel Liason had the better chemistry and I liked Jasam. I just liked Liason better. I will say this Genie Frances made the statement Liz and Jason were known on set as the next Luke and Laura in their early days.
However, at this point I don't know how the show could ever sale Liason again even if they wanted to go there. It's not that I don't think liason were soulmates. It's that they just went too far in other direction to fix it.
I do think if this show has a chance of surviving it needs a new vision!
Jason has his own memory of the most beautiful woman walking toward him jumping into his arms and then being shot and looking down at the blood on his hands. That happened to Sam. Robin is a terrible match maker. She wanted Jason and Liz together and Sonny and Brenda. Robin is the female Spinelli. The live in a fantasy world when it comes to love. They see love through rose colored glasses. Just loving a person is not enough. You have to have compatibility. If you don't, you're both trying to change to suit the other person and that's just gona make them both miserable. Brenda was always to mentally fragile for Sonny's world and Liz was trying too hard to fit into Jason's world because she wanted him so bad. Liz made the same mistake that Sam did when she and Jason got together the first time. They both changed who they were to accommodate Jason.
I am a Liason fan but I see your point. Liz and Brenda are like fairy tale Princesses who both fell in love with dark Princes instead of Prince Charmings. And yes Carly and Sam are more like the "ride or die bitches" who seem more suitable for the dark Princes however, opposites do attract and are very compatible. One correction to your statement, Brenda was never mentally fragile, she's just not the type to do what she's told without explanation. Brenda's actions are guided by morals and scruples both of which Carly is severely lacking, and though I like Carly, she's a foot soldier, do what she's told without questions.

Jason was in love with Liz long before Sam came on the scene They have a long history together. There has always been great chemistry between those two. Even Steve Burton complained at one time because the writers never gave their relationship a chance. Lucky was Liz’s 1st love, but Jason was her true love. They always played the “Elizabeth is afraid for her boys” card. Now Sam is playing the same card these days.....but it’s ok for her.....and then they put Liz with psycho Franco.....and Jason wasn’t safe??? 🙄 Writers give me a break, please!

Sam blasted Jason for not trying to be Jake's father then when Liz and Jason decided to be together she hired those thugs in the park to justify the first reason they stayed apart to begin with. I didn’t/don’t even care if Liz and Jason were the endgame, I just wanted to be able to watch them be in a relationship for a few years at least. Their chemistry is just as amazing as his and Sam’s. I swear the writers really do suck when it comes to coupling people up on here. I really also wanted to watch Nikolas and Liz be in a relationship as well - with their history as friends and their chemistry when they finally started to explore their sexual side was amazing and of course we only got to see that a handful of times too.
