Mark. Loving your videos on ponds. We moved into a house with a fancy pond with loads of Koi few years back. We had the pond cleaned couple of times too but over the Covid period all the fish died for some reason. We put in a whole new batch of baby Koi last year but they all seems to have vanished into thin air. Now there seems to be a leak somewhere because the water lever has gone drastically low. can you please give some tips or ideas as to how to solve this problem. Thank you.

Fish loss couple be from water quality or predators
Small fish might hide, until they get used to the pond. Start with turning the pond/pool off and leave aeration on if you have it.

What if the leak is on the bottom
I attempted this but couldn't find the leak. I removed the pond liner and the ground was completely dry, yet 200 gallons were lost overnight. It's filled by a hose so it's not a plumbing leak. I have the liner laid on the floor of my house and am filling it with a bit of water, so far absolutely no leaks. Nothing on my trial cam. I don't understand, there must be a leak but only under pressure or something:(
Not sure, so you have taken out the liner? It is possible the weight of the water can stretch the liner. Are you using EPDM

I am not sure if I can help you from pictures alone. Our leak detection service is three visits. We are putting together a cheat sheet, watch this video th-cam.com/video/deWiMJzOmwQ/w-d-xo.html it based on multiple waterfalls however the process is the same.

@@oh5148 I scrapped the liner and cemented it instead it's had no issues now.

That's not a pond it's an outdoor bathtub for homeless people. He should throw that dumb hat in it to plug the leak.
