- Hey everyone welcome back to another video! Today I am super excited because we FINALLY got a 2021 Entegra Esteem! This is the 2021 Entegra Esteem 30x which is a great class C! What I love about this motorhome is that it has a full wall slide and the kitchen is fantastic! Now how Entegra Works is since we have this Esteem we should have a few more starting to roll in so you have to act fast! This one is ALREADY SOLD (not by me lol )

Things I don't like:
1. TV placement in the front.
2. Not a fan of a dinette.
3. No desk tray for the co captain.
Things I like:
1. LOVE that the lavatory is across the aisle.
2. Plenty of counter space in the kitchen. I really appreciate that!
3. Great storage in the bedroom.
Maybe that could be used as a broom closet. Put in a couple of TV trays.

The tall skinny cabinet is probably a broom and mop closet.
That's what I was thinking because none of the outside storage was large enough for brooms or mops from what I saw.

Definitely PERFECT for a broom closet!!! And EVERY home needs a broom/mop closet. BRAVO to the ingenious designer who thought of this basic necessity!!!

Love the kitchen!! I even like the funny little skinny cabinet by the fridge. Broom closet!!😊 love the bedroom and the cabinetry. I like that the shower and toilet is on one side and the sink is across vs. the other way.
Andrea, the weird space is a broom closet, place for dustpans, a sponge mop and other clening supplies. I like it. Esteem does it again. Glad General ordered full body paint, which I love

Wow what an RV! Everything externally looked amazing, ALL the features are appreciated! LOVE LOVE ❤️ that the bed and bath are useable when slideouts are in! Please remove can bunk tv because I don’t want to hit it with my feet. You can place the TV in a “tele-vator” across from recliners (remove sofa) or swing down from the ceiling! Have bed side windows always for air flow and circulation. All and all this RV has the best features and y’all hit a homerun! My suggestions would make it a grand slam! Great job as always Matt and Andrea!!!

You can put brooms, a slim vacuum and other handing items in that side cabinet.
Really like this one! Only disappointment is the couch - recliner is a MUST HAVE for me due to nerve disease in legs and feet. Great review. Adore the two of you working together.
Oh my gosh Odyssey....you do everything to perfection!! This is my dream RV (does it come in 24’-27’ ?) I love, love, love the TV placement. I would never want a TV to be the reason why a nice large window was eliminated from an RV. All that natural light is a huge selling point. The tall, skinny cabinet next to the refrigerator was the only thing you overlooked. Why not use one of Rev-a-Shelf’s skinny pullout pantry units? It would have been a great use of space. Great video! Thank you for sharing! Andrea’s hair look sweet. Three things that I like: 1. Seamless Front Body Cap. 2.All of the Kitchen is beautiful. 3. Bathroom is nice and big. Three things I don’t like: I don’t believe there is a perfect RV. With that in mind, I can’t find one thing I don’t like.
Gotta say one of my likes is that there really are not a lot of missteps in this design. Great kitchen with a real oven. A bed on a slide that you can sleep on when the slide is in. Lots of exterior storage with proper doors. Dislikes: I don't like a split freezer??? or the 4 door fridge, it is just impractical. Really needed a televator. Maybe the access to the grey and black dumps seems to be quite a reach.
For the most part with the 2-year warranty, this seems like a pretty good unit. Little long for me but that is also why the floor plan works so well. Great review matt.
Matt, please take a few class A and a few class C for a test drive, I am concerned about the noise level in these motorhomes especially with the new 7.3 liter V8...thanks and keep up the good work, congratulations on hitting 60,000 subscribers, WOW that’s fantastic!
Sink and mirror should be in the bathroom . Class C should have washer and dryer stackables. Would like to see more two longers instead of half couch. Love ovens and refrigerator. Matt and Andrea in your videos can you state how many people it would sleep?
I will try to remember. This one sleeps 6. Two in bunk over cab. 1 on dinette 1 on sofa jack knife bed and 2 in master ☺️
What a beautiful coach. Pro 1) full body paint 2) new V8 engine 3) price point..... Con 1) Small shelfless pantry 2) Bathroom sink separate from bathroom 3) PPP is too small for me. I am 6’1” 240lbs and would have rough time squeezing in there. Hey Matt will you be reviewing the Thor Hurricane 2021 model (maybe 34j or 35M)? I saw they changed a few things from the 2020 to the 2021. My family and I will be looking to purchase our first RV next summer, this is the brand and model we fell in love with.

Looking at the floor plans on the Entegra website, the optional larger fridge is why the pantry is so narrow. The larger fridge looks like it reduces the pantry size in half.
I like how Matt loves the "Prime Pooping Position," but the fan in the bathroom is Andrea approved.
I notice the bed slide seems to be rather shallow. Also there is no privacy curtain between bath area and living space.
Like the split bath setup, kitchen, unit in general.
Don't like over cab areas period, lack of side windows by bed (prob because slide is so shallow), double sink. Just because houses have dbl sinks doesn't mean we need them in RVs; a large single sink will do and free up counter space.
Eat a bit of profit, Entegra .. a decent pantry beside refrig (hate those wood panels!), privacy curtain, convection/micro and get that dump station off the ground.

If any manufacturers are really reading I'd like to say one thing. With a Class C specifically what we are looking for, and what a lot of families end up doing, is a bunk over the cab for the parents, and a back bunk room for the kids. It makes so much more sense for the parents to be in the common / kitchen areas later in the evening and earlier in the morning.
You guys are doing a great job with the videos. A great partnership!

The full body paint looks awesome! My dislikes are there isn't a drawer for pots & pans and the walls on either side of the bath room vanity. They look random to me. It would be nice if the walls could go to the ceiling, but it's on the slide; so, it is what it is. Beautiful coach!!!
The look of this one makes me like the this particular Class C more than a Class A. Very good looking RV

Perhaps the narrow kitchen closet is for storing a broom or a stick vacuum. Love the kitchen counter space, the double sink, plus sink outside the bathroom and the bed availability when slide is in. Nothing really negative.
I really like Entegra’s too, love the window over the bunk, dinette table seems high. I don’t like the bathroom sink outside of bathroom!!! Hands need to be washed before touching the door handle! Love the nightstands! That tall skinny cabinet would make a great broom closet.
I'm an avid follower of you Matt...and when we see the perfect upgrade, we'll be on board. We currently have a Thor Fourwinds and with being in our late 60's, would like to know what you, or your followers think of a small car to haul behind our Class C? We're thinking about a Smart Car but don't know where to go for real opinions about what is safest and best?! Thank you for all you and your wife do to bring shopping to us! I get so many incredible ideas...especially from your wife...I take notes! Thank you!
I have a friend who is an EMT, and he said every time they get a call for an accident with a SmartCar, they make sure they have body bags on board :( They are cute but I'd never own one, nor any other similar tiny car. Best small car IMO is a Honda Civic.

I look everyday to see a Matt's Rv Review video on TH-cam! My favorite RV channel ever!!!!!!! I have to agree with Andrea; it should have a Televator. I believe that's a broom closet by the fridge, but what do I know! LOL! This is a great looking motorhome on the outside and inside. I agree with Matt about the tightness in the bedroom but other than those few things, this is a great unit. However, for that price I'd spend a few more dollars and get a class A.
Love that the freezer is two separate sections and the counter space. Would like to see a convection/microwave oven, larger TV in living area and in a better location. My preference would be theater seats across from larger TV with fireplace. Would like to see some type way to cut bathroom off from the front of the coach. No way to step out of the shower and go to bedroom to dress without closing all blinds in the front of the coach.
3 things I loved 1. The outside paint was stunning. The kitchen and the bath. 3 things I dont no skylight in the master no solar panel and no fireplace plus I can add one more no convention oven. Sorry but if I'm putting out that kind of cash I want it my way.
Suggestions to Entegra to improve layout: get rid of entry closet and move refrig over to enlarge pantry for pullout w shelves (smaller refrig would help - the separator between doors reduces capacity anyway); make bed slide deeper w side windows and nightstand both sides of bed (can be done by shortening kitchen counter); DO SOMETHING about exposed dump stations .. these will drag and get damaged.
Manufacturers getting fat by cutting corners/quality/features do not make for repeat customers.
Like the haircut Andrea. Nice looking outside. Auto leveling😉. Appreciate 350hp engine, running board too, propane tank hook ups. We like the detail on the awning, good to know about taking the photo of the door. Back up camera! Two A/C units with solar prep. Sturdy ladder. Outside storage is adequate. Plenty of space with slide in, you can access the bath and bed in an emergency. Seats look comfy for driving. Like the blinker cameras, very reassuring while driving. Could you get the TV placed elsewhere as an option? We like the light that comes through the windows.Like that the fridge isn’t on the slide. Nice price! Great counter space for prepping and lots of storage!!! Like the fridge. Don’t like the exposed bathroom sink, kinda weird, but very nice size shower. Appreciate the reading lights above the bed, perfect for reading.
What we don’t like is TV placement, the narrow empty space for unknown reasons, and the window shades. There’s really nothing that would make us NOT want to purchase it.

I love ❤️ the 750lb cabover bunk, the kitchen layout, and the bedroom storage! I dislike the tight bedroom quarters, the odd pantry/broom closet(?), and the dark full body paint cuz it’s hot 🥵 in the south!

This manufacturer makes the best class B. Love the cab over the front driver's seat. I know this RV company makes this with bunk beds. I like it a lot.
LIKES: 1. LOVE that bunk with the window. Best I've ever seen! 2. Love the kitchen space, especially the countertop and like having the bathroom sink in the hall. Practical. 3. Love that you can get to the bed to take a nap without pushing everything out. Also really like that awning and the TV/Propane outlet. DISLIKES: 1. I don't like that only one side of the bed has a nightstand. I anticipate arguments over who gets the nightstand. 2. Not enough pantry. What's with that 4" wide Pantry? At least hang some netted storage in there. 3. I prefer that the kitchen is on one side and the sofa/dinette on the other. That way, if you have to have an adjustable TV, you can point it out to the side where everyone sits. Here, either the dinette OR the sofa can watch it but not both at the same time. But love so many things about the Integra and the quality of the product. So beautiful!
i think the storage next to the fridge is a broom closet or a place for one of those tall slim trash cans. i think they should have a flip down tv or televator across from the couch. i like having the sink outside the bathroom to make more room. i would rather have a convection microwave and replace the the oven with a dishwasher
Gorgeous overcab area..I'm with Andrea...do they think we are still 70-80s get rid of the valances ...Start using drawers on the under seats in the dinette area instead of lift-the-cushion-lift-the-plywood. Did they forget to put the pantry shelving in that skinny cabinet? TV ..meh? interior colors are great. Was there a privacy door between the bath and the front of the unit?
Brooms could go in the skinny closet but maybe not enough space. Love the layout especially in the kitchen.
The 3 things I don't like:
1. the pantry: I would like some shelves with lights that come on when you open the door for each shelf
2. the TV in the living area: I would prefer a televator
3. not a lot of room to get around in the bedroom
The 3 things I do like:
1. the whole kitchen except the shelf under the sink, it takes away space for a trashcan
2. the contrast of light and dark in the interior
3. I'm combining the exterior: the full body paint, slam latches, the design on the awning, bumper where you can store your stinky slinky and an extra step for the ladder

Love that the TV for the bunk swings out. Good walk space with slides out in. Like the closet at the top of the stairs. Not a good pantry. Prefer the shower on one side and toilet /sink are on the other side. Bunk could sit a little higher for taller person.

I LOVE the broom closet in the kitchen. Where else are you supposed to put your broom, mop, ironing board, etc...??? I like most of the kitchen (not the fridge). I like the bathroom arrangement. I don't like the double sided fridge; you lose storage room in those. I don't like the TV placement in front (but do like it in the bedroom). And I don't like that big window above the cab-bunk (You know it's expensive to replace if a rock hits it....how about putting a motorized shutter on the outside instead of a shade on the inside?)

I love EVERYTHING about this rv!! That small tall narrow cabinet that Matt and Andrea can't figure out is probably a closet to put a broom or mop in. That's what I would use it for 🤗 I just wish I could afford one to make it my permanent home😭
Love this rv!!!!!! The only thing I would change is the tv placement.....not sure if they can even do it or not.....how about putting it folded up against the roof above the window and dinette.....on hinges and pull it down to watch that way it is directly across from the sofa
Hey guys! This motorhome was really surprising.....maybe not a good surprise. Outside it looks so classy, as if its really going to be nice inside. But inside, about the only nice thing is the kitchen counter space. Dislikes (can I have more than 3?).....tiny TV, split bathroom with the sink outside, no washer dryer hook up, no serious pantry space other than a sliver in the wall, sofa looks small and uncomfortable, they could have added some features to the dining table like swivel or storage space inside, and on the outside, the levers to empty your tanks should have been located in a compartment to avoid having to get on your knees and reach under, tiny bedroom space even with the slide out. Likes: outside paint, counter space in kitchen (but I think the lack of kitchen storage almost cancels that out), and thats about all. Thanks so much for another great review! God bless!

I typically don't care for Class C because we don't need the bunk (probably good for resale) but really like this. Like the neutral colors, updated cab, that you can use it with slides closed (especially no split mattress), outside storage, auto leveling, pocket door. Dislike: sink in hallway, TV position and needs to be bigger, has less kitchen cabinet space than 29V because kitchen in slide. Counter top shorter and smaller over sink cabinets, fewer drawers. Frig is great but having wood fronts will show wear. Thanks, definitely opened up this as an option.
Disliked small tv and no tv in bedroom. Since bathroom sink is on the outside could there be a curtain to block off the living area? Loved the layout, colors and everything is accessible with the slide in.
It had a TV in the bedroom but it was only like a 24".

It would be amazing if you could review the different generators, its something I havent been able to find squat on for a couple years now.
My old Minnie had the Onan 4k and either it was just terribly insulated or it sucks that bad, but it was crazy loud inside. The 5500 seems like it sucks less but hard to find good info. DIesel gens are a whole different game for sound comfort.
I would love to see a check on sound blocking of different C's with the 4k (since none get anything bigger) and maybe 4k vs larger in other units.
I just like it all around! This is the perfect size for us.
We have the 2019 Greyhawk 30X. Had shelves built for the pantry beside the fridge. Noticed Jayco did not add the counter extension. We wish there were more outside storage. Wish there was a table on the far side of the bed, no shelf on that side of the bed is our biggest complaint. Otherwise we love it and have had no issues
The tall thin cabinet door to the right of the fridge is a broom closet! You can also put your Swiffer there too. The cabinets seem cheap. The paint looks great. Matt, please ask the RV industry why you can not get a leather steering wheel as an option from the factory? Ford and Mercedes should offer that from the factory! Lastly, I think the European RV manufacturers have a way better build quality and look than American RV manufacturers.

Thanks for pointing out the rv door handle latch! I’m building my own rv and am very interested in these videos , they help a lot when building! Could you show more of the entry door hinges, and also storage underneath the entry steps🙏 I’ve noticed some entry doors are lacking and people have said they could have problems later on?

A televator would have been nice. The tv is too small. The pantry on the side of the refrigerator is probably for broom and mop. Great video as always!
The window above the bunk on top of the cab is big, I like the cabinets, and the sofa looks really comfy. But in reality it looks more like a love seat.
My Problem with every RV is the TV's. I do like this RV better than most. I think the discounted price is not bad. I like the separate sink from the toilet shower area. I also like the over all look of the interior finishes. Great Video!!!
So for that tiny cabinet, there is an option for a bigger fridge that would fill the space, but I would use that space for brooms/ or put hooks and hang umbrellas or keys, or raincoat, or if you have sheet pans put them there. You maybe could put hooks and hang fry pans. Just a few ideas Matt and Andrea to make it a like. Thanks for all your videos. I love this one.
hi!!! We've been fans since we rented our first RV Jul 3-13, 2020. Now we actually learned what everything is by watching your videos. We are addicted to watching y'all every day. I like this model as it compared to the Canadream rental. The advice to rent one before you buy is so true. Now we can agree/disagree on things better. I like this one, but hubby wants a park trailer (and a new truck)!

My 2 kids are 5'10 and 5'11" so bunk over cab seems small. They need more storage for clothes for kids sleeping in bunk.

That is nice body paint. It really sells the RV. I like the oven and the 2 way. I didn't like the TV placement. I think that cabinet could hold a broom.

Does the passenger side have the table that comes down for writing and computer work? Love that in an RV. This motorhome is a winner. I think the layout is great. Nice interior colors, love all the windows/light. Perhaps, some accommodation for pets' needs would be good to have as an option that could be requested; such as a place for cat litter box, scratch pole with perch... place for dog and/or cat bowls, and dog bed. Maybe they could mount the TV (or add another tv) on a flip down panel above the dinette. When you aren’t using it just flip it up so you could still look out the window. Just a thought (if possible).
Next to the refrigerator could be used for a broom 🧹 or sweeper/swifter storage or anything else tall.

In my opinion I think the Odyssey 30z has the best floor plan mainly because of the living room area. The sofa is facing the tv and fireplace giving it a more home-like feel and not to mention the farmhouse look. The North/South facing bed is also a plus. I just wish the ship lap went more into the living room and dinette area.
1) Need a protective metal plate in front of the black and gray outlets to keep road debris from directly impacting them. 2) window valances are not needed. Make the cabinets bigger. 3) TV extension should extend to put the center of the TV screen in the center of the coach. 4) Cabinet above the door should extend down lower (blank wall space should be minimal in a RV to max storage, period, the end). 5) Hinges should be hidden. 6) Convection microwave only. 7) larger fridge option? 8) closet next to fridge should have pull out pantry shelves as one unit. 9) more draws instead of a window between the bedroom closets. 10) no outside TV option replaced with storage. 11) wider ladder with wider rungs for better footing and ladder extension bars at the top for safer getting on and off the roof. 12) 50 AMP power! 13) awnings over all windows or as a option. 14) did not show working surface for passenger to use while riding. 15) some USB ports were pointed out but not all? No mention around the front console 15) power available around the console to use.

I really like this, big plus is the kitchen. I'd have to install a pull out pantry in that awkward space. I also want night stands or a counter top space on both sides of the bed.
The cabinet beside the fridge would be perfect for a broom and mop!!! I wish it had 2 night stands in the bedroom tho and I prefer a U shape dinette! Not a fan of having to remove the cushions for storage under the dinette either! But all in all, it's a beautiful motorhome!
