How to Fix Self-Intersecting Invalid Geometry in QGIS without the Geometry Checker plugin

This is a tutorial on how to correct invalid geometry in QGIS without the use of the Geometry Checker plugin. With that plugin, you can use a tool called "Fix Geometries". In this tutorial, we use tools such as Check Validity, Buffer, and Union instead.

Thank you for the video. When I buffer my invalid layer, the buffer doesnt cover the entire invalid layer extent. Any reason for this? how can I troubleshoot this issue?

if having self intersection polygons then this will be fixed and the polygon outside will be removed (usually this is a small spike with very little area)
