Wow thank you! Straight to the point. Explained really well. Just basic straight forward steps with visual example. Thank you! By the end of the looooong videos, all the info is just jumbled haha this is fantastic!
keep an eye on my the glitterfairy facebook group and my website, this months blog is about filing technique, editing videos and writing up within the week x
lol thanks I’ve actually bought over $3000 worth of acrylic and drills and everything I need. That’s when I first started and I was so confused 🤷♀️ my nail room looks like an actual nail salon!
When you put the glitter on, is it straight on that nail with the pearl, then encasing it? Or do you do a first coat with just the pearl, then mix with glitter+pearl and put on top, and then encase it?? I hope that makes sense haha Just want to make sure Im doing it correctly. Is it the same concept when using colored powder as the glitter?
Forgive me as I'm a beginer..... is it better to dip the acrylic in to the glitter then encapsulate with clear? I've seen methods mixing the glitter and acrylic together? I'm confused as to which is the best practice? Thanks!
Hi I'm trying to find a way Of doing this look also The shattered glass sheets by just Using nail polish not gels As I havmt got a lamp or anything at the moment if not could This be done with uv gel Polishes I've been doing my own nails for over 30 years just using The full well full coverage nail tips and very strong nail glue and I'd love to try both The glitter and shattered glass looks out I'd be really grateful for any advice Or info you can give me I will be getting a lamp and uv gel polishes Etc in the near Future but was wondering if I could do these now thank you so much love your videos and Your work xx
Is there anything aside from top coat you can use to bring the shine back? (especially something that's safe if it gets in your mouth. This will be used for a child)
I'm currently encapsulating my glitter with clear acrylic powder from born pretty but even after I put a top coat the shine and holographic ting to the glitter doesn't come back... am I using the wrong powder or top coat?
Hi Lucy great to have some videos again definitely need my fix lol! My client I had the other day wanted black nails with a glitter fade from the tip down, after it looked really bulky :( is there any tips to do glitter on top of a coloured acrylic? Thank you! Xx
@@MissLucysNailartist I do it how u so but acrylic dose not cover glitter I'm wondering it it's because my glitter.mix has allndiffrent sizes. In it the acrylic won't cover like urs dose should I try make wetter bead see 8f that works x
make sure you create a thin base of glitter, tap flat, allow to set for a minute then cap in usual consistency acrylic, if you've kept the glitter thin it will be covered by the acrylic
Straight to the point without wasting my time. 👍👍

You’re welcome 😊
Yessssss a video from you! I have been missing your videos girl! Awesome like always!
Thank you cause I thought I was doing it wrong cause it kept going matte. Happy to know I was actually doing it right.
I wonder if gel is needed for top coat
Quick simple easy explanation.
Do u have to use a top coat or can u use a regular clear nail polish for the acrylic nails so it can shine
you could use normal polish instead x
Which acrylic powder do you recommend?
Oh wow I had no idea u could do it this way I thought u had to mix the glitter and acrylic and use it mixed
Everything clicked in the first few seconds 🤣 feel like such a fool for not thinking of that
Your nails in the video look gorgeously stunning. Can you please make a video on how you did them? 💅😍❤ PLEASE!
all in the description hun, including links to videos x
What size brush should we use for this?
Does the glitter transfer to the brush or the monomer afterward? Is it difficult clean up?
Thanks for the video. 🌻
Do you recommend this method instead of mixing glitter straight into the acrylic powder and then applying?
Please answer this !!!!!!! to do this can I use regular nail tips with the white or does it have to be clear nail?
Could be either as long as you cover them completely
Thank you this was so easy to understand
Can you use this method with using any regular glitter?
Oh thank u .. just explaining I needed xoxo...
Very helpful thank you!
is it just normal glitter or is it like a special acrylic one. i’ve just started doing my nails so i don’t really know anything
What is the purple solution? Can i use hard gel to encapsilate as well? For press on?
That's monomer, and yes you can encapsulate glitter in hard gel too :)
Wow♥️♥️♥️
Where can I order the thing you are using to hold the nail?
Use an orange stick and glue a nail on one end GOOD LUCK
lol thanks I’ve actually bought over $3000 worth of acrylic and drills and everything I need. That’s when I first started and I was so confused 🤷♀️ my nail room looks like an actual nail salon!
Did u use a buffing block to file?
nope :)
Great video this the thinnest glitter cap I've seen. How would I go about doing this with acrylic glitters that are already mixed .?
work the same way ):)
Thank you ❤️
When you put the glitter on, is it straight on that nail with the pearl, then encasing it?
Or do you do a first coat with just the pearl, then mix with glitter+pearl and put on top, and then encase it??
I hope that makes sense haha

Forgive me as I'm a beginer..... is it better to dip the acrylic in to the glitter then encapsulate with clear? I've seen methods mixing the glitter and acrylic together? I'm confused as to which is the best practice? Thanks!
much easier as you won't end up with lots of pots of acrylic/glitter mixed and more control of where the glitter goes and keeping the layers thin
Hi I'm trying to find a way
Of doing this look also
The shattered glass sheets by just
Using nail polish not gels
As I havmt got a lamp or anything at the moment if not could
This be done with uv gel
Polishes I've been doing my own nails for over 30 years just using
The full well full coverage nail tips and very strong nail glue and I'd love to try both The glitter and shattered glass looks out I'd be really grateful for any advice
Or info you can give me I will be getting a lamp and uv gel polishes
Etc in the near Future but was wondering if I could do these now thank you so much love your videos and Your work xx
Hi Sharon, I only really work with acrylic, I'd recommend getting some proffessional training before using gel polish
Miss Lucy's & The Glitter Fairy ahhh ok I thought it would be very similar to nail polish thanks for replying I'll look into it 😊
How do you keep glitter from getting inside of crystal clear powder ?
Not sure what you mean?
Thanks!!!❤❤❤
Where do you get the nail from
Is there anything aside from top coat you can use to bring the shine back? (especially something that's safe if it gets in your mouth. This will be used for a child)
I would use acrylic on a child
And it can be any glitter right? Like the ones you use for crafts?
no, you need to use glitter for nail art or cosmetic glitter, craft glitter won't be suitable
Thank you for this video it has helped
What is the liquid you use to form the beads?
Monomer
I'm currently encapsulating my glitter with clear acrylic powder from born pretty but even after I put a top coat the shine and holographic ting to the glitter doesn't come back... am I using the wrong powder or top coat?
make sure to use fresh monomer so the clear acrylic isn't cloudy :)
Is an UV topcoat necessary? Or can I also use a regular topcoat? Btw thank you for the video, very helpfull :)
you can use any topcoat you like :)
Do you use a wet pearl?
for what?
Hi Lucy great to have some videos again definitely need my fix lol! My client I had the other day wanted black nails with a glitter fade from the tip down, after it looked really bulky :( is there any tips to do glitter on top of a coloured acrylic? Thank you! Xx
The trick is to keep the base colour super thin, I'll add this to my 'how to' list today x
Thank you so much! Xx
did some today, will aim to edit and upload tonight kitty x
Can this be done similarly with builder gel?
sure can
It looks so easy
Helped so much!!
Thank you.
Is it absolutely necessary to go over the glitter one more time with the clear acrylic? Would a top coat of clear polish work as well?
you'd have no strength/structure in the nails that way
Yes or else it wouldn't be encapsulated
How do you glue the nail to the gel stirrer ?
blu tak
Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!
where can I get that metal stick?

Omg LOVE IT, why when I do it, the glitter keeps moving 😔 yours looks so easy
leave it to set for a minute before capping
@@MissLucysNailartist
Thank you
I just have a problem building an apex when encapsulating.
when you cap in clear create the apex then
If tryed this but never works for me were am I going wrong.?
If you're copying what I do I dont know how it's not working, how does it go wrong?
@@MissLucysNailartist I do it how u so but acrylic dose not cover glitter I'm wondering it it's because my glitter.mix has allndiffrent sizes. In it the acrylic won't cover like urs dose should I try make wetter bead see 8f that works x
