Another good one is to use Raye to special summon out Kagari in the mirror match so they can't Shark Cannon to revive your Kagari and get a free add back (since using the quick effect of Raye doesn't properly link summon the link)
Yeah that's also a really good one that a lot of people don't know

@@anunluckyguy7586 So Raye using her effect to tribute herself to Special Summon a Sky Striker Ace link monster does not properly link summon the Kagari. (So if your opponent uses Shark Cannon to target your improperly summoned Kagari, they can only banish it since you cannot Special Summon an improperly summoned Extra Deck monster) If you link summon Kagari normally, and your opponent uses Widow Anchor on it later on in the game and Special Summons it, then the effect can activate on the summon added back a Sky Striker spell.

Also you can play around Belle by triggering your roze (in hand) as cl2 in hand to chainblock the Kagari
another cool trick is if you have 2 spells in gy and use a spell like engage or after burner you can do cl 1 engage cl 2 forbitten droplets send engage as cost and since it checks if there is 3 spells in gy after its used you will get to draw since droplet sends engage so you will have 3 spells because of that

@Road to Yu-Gi-Oh! WC yea dude sky striker can abuse droplet sense you can can chan to your spells and it can help dodge some targeted negation i dont think there is a single deck that can use droplet as well as sky striker

started playing strikers in 2021, this is realy helpful and allows me to beat my oponents without hassel or losing using thes tips. especialy the widow anchor

the dodging veiler tip is strong but it does open you up to Belle and gamma as they negate activations and can prevent raye from floating. might be better to just attack over the monster and dodge all 3. Great video though

Also another instance where u can doge veiler is if u normal raye then chain her eff to link summon then go into shizuku on ep if u didn’t really have too many plays during that turn day if you went first and just set 3 ep shiz or something

4:10 You can set Window Anchor you search by negating Shizuku and then trigger Multirole; idk why this is not displayed in the video
This one trick I learned when seeing a DB video; if you have another Raye on hand you can banish your own link 2 Ace (you go to link 2) in order to later turn to summon Link 3 (in this case Ningirsu)
The Widow Anchor player is basically the Shark Cannon play, it's the exact same thing. The Shark Cannon one is just more meta relevant with how much GY reliant decks there are and the Widow Anchor play itself is just already very well known, didn't need to include it.
And yes you can play around Droll with any quick-play spell + Multirole live.
The Ningirsu play is really cool, Striker in general is such a high skill ceiling deck, that's why I love it so much
first turn you can also tag out raye in the end phase to avoid shizuku eating a Veiler
Tag out to Kagari during BP to avoid Veiler
Yeah but you have to be sure your opponent doesn't play drive
most important tip: activate mine and just summon hayate to poke every turn 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Could of added to the veiler part thst you can just summon raye and end phase use her effect to go into shizuku and they can’t veiler.
You could of also added that in the mirror you never properly summon kagari, you should always use her raye to summon, so they can’t shark cannon the kagari later in the duel

Another trick, make kagari with reys effect, so the opponent in mirror can’t steal her from the gy
Super new, I have a question about tip 5. What makes you able to play Hayate if they have a monster that has 1500+ attack points? I don't see anything in her text and I don't see anything else on the field that would allow that? What am I missing? lol
Oh, it's nothing that lets you play Hayate, you just normally link summon into it since it's a link 1 either via Raye effect or just normal link summon. The point is to just dodge Effect Veiler for the Kagari add, since it has risen in popularity this format, since Veiler is strictly in the main phase. If you have anymore questions or something is still unclear, feel free to keep asking, I don't mind answering ^_^ always great to have new players and faces in the community!
@@bearxbear I appreciate you! I get the avoiding Effect Veiler and "why" I just didn't get how you got to Hayate from "nothing" since your board was empty. But it makes sense after you explain it 😅
You forget to mention one of the famous one, area zero target Ray, chain Ray effect summon anny link monster for a potential plus one for free.
A another one less popular, in the mirror, instead of banishing with shark cannon you can summon the oppenant kagari or shizuku for grabing anything you want without wasting your own link.
Ahah I didn't put that one in because it's the most common play, figured everyone should know that one for the most part

To the same effect of the 4th one If you need to get widow and you have roll, you can end phase shiz search it. Activate it targeting Shiz, then resolve Role setting it.
Yeah, that one is essentially a bread and butter combo that everyone should already know though

I'm not sure what you're asking, I think I explained it clearly LOL You search Shark Cannon off Shizuku. Quick-plays can be activated in any phase of the turn, even End Phase, if that's what you're asking. Then you set it off Multirole, and then you can use it again during your opponent's turn, easy!

On tip #1 dont you always have priority regardless of not playing like your example? What do I miss? From your example as long as I keep calling priority instead of passing it they will miss Droll timing.
Droll can be put on any part of the chain after the resolution of the add. The important part here is Multirole's effect has resolved that says your opponent cannot respond to the activation of your spell cards, which is why when you activate a quick-play card on the resolution, they're no longer able to Droll.
However you're not able to activate a normal spell card on resolution to get this same result. There is an open window on resolution for both players to activate spell speed 2 effects (quick-plays, quick effects)

No. On the chain of Widow Anchor there was no card added, so the requirements to activate Droll are no longer met

Uhh, there's a lot of things. Can't Shark Cannon a Link Monster summoned by Raye since it wasn't a proper summon. Other than that, it's just resource management and card advantage. If you have less cards you're very likely to lose. Being the first player to start resolving multirole is really important too. Other stuff comes down to decision making like what you decide to search with Shizu depending on game state. It's a very skill-based mirror.

How do people even play standard anymore
The only problem with the 1st trick though (besides using a lot of resources just to play around droll) is that you don't actually know if your opponent has the droll. If they dont have it you could be wasting resources to play around it since you don't actually see the droll in their hand unless you give them a chance to activate it, which tip #1 does not. It's a really cool idea, but I'm not sure it's very practical.
Well that's why this isn't a singles game right, if you see main deck Droll in Game 1, then you know this for Games 2 and 3. There's also lines of play that are much more optimal to play around droll.
E.g. pretend you have Engage instead of Rota and you don't have a quick-play in hand. You search Drones, activate Drones on resolution, then you can go into Kagari and resolve a second Engage, whereas if you didn't play around the Droll, you don't get to resolve Engage again during your turn.
In that scenario, it's very practical, no?
I'd also argue it doesn't use a lot of resources because Multirole is something you're going to activate anyways, you're going to end up setting cards off of Multirole in EP, and you're going to use search/draw cards throughout your turn since it is Striker, and it's hard to imagine not doing so unless you don't open too well.
@@bearxbear That's true, I wasn't thinking of the engage scenario. Though now that I think about it this is really only a thing you can do past turn 1, unless you already have a striker link on field before searching and have eagle boosters in hand (or if they ht'd you previously in the turn and you have shark cannon).
@@johnnickfanaccount3492 I'd also disagree with the turn 1 thing. The thing with Striker back in the day, as much as Engage off of Engage was/is a meme, this deck felt like the least obnoxious meta deck to ever play against because you get a couple of turns to play.
Your opponent has plenty of opportunities to draw into Droll in later turns and it might hurt because it turns off a lot of your cards after a singular draw/add. Think about it, turn 2 you could top Foolish Goods, have A0 on field, use Kagari to add back in Engage, and EP Shizuku. If your opponent draws Droll during their turn, you're only going to be able to resolve 1 of 4 of those things.
Like obviously playing around Droll isn't going to come up every single game or anything, but the ceiling of this deck is pretty high that it's important to know the ins and outs of your available lines of play, and that includes reading what your opponent might have as well. There's a reason players like Ryan Yu consistently do so well with the deck vs someone casually playing it at locals every now and then
@@bearxbear Isn't this agreeing with me though ? All I said was that playing around droll this way only really works after turn 1, not that it's only relevant turn 1. Lol. Also I would disagree about striker being not obnoxious to play against. Mystic mine, Kaina/hayate in time, TCBOO, having an answer to everything you do, an archetypal pot of greed that can be recycled over and over... The only striker I ever played was Draco Striker, but I played against sooo many striker players and the deck is super obnoxious.

Idk I'd argue the general consensus in the several metas of the decks existence was that even though Striker could do a lot, the deck still gave players, especially rogue ones, a good chance to play the game and have a bit of back and forth. Unlike with Orcust, Salad, or Striker, that would just negate/pop/send and then have follow up to kill. I played the deck since release up until it was hit on the Striker Orcust ban list and while ofc it does what Tier 1 decks are meant to do, it never felt as oppressive as other meta decks like Gouki U-Link, Colossus being an indestructible Mistake.

Pretty sure Droll doesn't miss timing since it's an "if" effect.
You can't respond to a spell while Multirole is live, so you can't put Droll on the chain after, it's like trying to respond to Accesscode ef, you just simply cannot do it. Therefore Droll cannot activate.

The best Tip and trick for SS IMO would be engage into engage into engage. Only the Top Tier SS can resolve that play.... So start practicing it xD
In my opinion, Reinforcement is kinda useless. It’s only big use in my deck is to get Roze. There’s already too many ways to get Raye
I'd disagree, it gets a spell in GY and thins your deck and usually the biggest complaint in this deck is not having access to Raye
1. Hit engage from area zero
2. Hit raye from area zero with engage in hand
3. Draw cosmic cyclone as 6th card game 2 vs imperial order to chain it immediately
4. Didn't banish engage, hornet drones, nor multi role off desires
5. Top deck engage in a simplified gamestate

Don’t shower for as long as possible
Tip 1 is illegal
Your opponent is allowed to use droll before you can use widow anchor. This is because droll has a trigger.
Trigger effects must always be activated first before any optional cards such as widow anchor
You should probably at least read the card you're providing false information on and trying to make a video look bad. Droll is not a trigger and it very clearly reads (QUICK EFFECT) in its effect.
Like someone else said, Droll is not a trigger, it's a quick effect.
Tip Number 6: Dont play Sky Strikers lol
