@@Quest4Horror of hardcore ? Maybe I can agree, of core ? No clearly not, I recently discovered a band called Bound in Fear, you should check it out if you loves breakdowns
Knocked loose is on he modern example of just pure uncompromising hardcore rage. They have better songwriting than just riff salad beatdown bands, and actually have hooks and catchy aspects. Mean ass breakdowns for aged deathcore fans, the creepy korn guitar stuff for the former nu-metal kids. And also, Brian Garris’ voice is way more listenable since it’s more “real” sounding than just the normal beatdown fat guy vocals. For some reason, they are popular too and they achieved a pretty good score on billboard and stuff. Go knocked loose.
I just saw them live earlier this week. His vocals were identical to their recordings. I was amazed how well they sounded on the last show of tour. He really has this style down.
Bryan Garris is a really weird case. His screaming pitch is a lot higher than his natural speaking voice. Like a lot of vocalists from the modern hardcore scene he doesn't really care about technique. He said he just does what feels natural but never learned to scream. He's pretty safe and comfortable in what he does, his voice has gotten a lot better since KL started
@@ooddododd8101 it's possible but I doubt it. I've seen KL a couple of times and watched a lot of live videos and his voice never sounds strained. He's just really naturally good at one type of scream that fits with his vocal anatomy

After you react to that song you should definitely react to "All My Friends" from their 5 year older EP. In my Ears his screaming changed a lot since then. Another recommendation is my favorite song "...And Still I Wander South" from the same album as "Mistakes Like Fractures".
He was less experienced and more just screaming on Pop Culture. He's perfected his craft and style. He's phenomenal live and rarely gets winded which is extremely impressive considering he's actually screaming and he gives his all to his stage presence. Fucking love Bryan Garris.

Knocked loose has done a fantastic job growing with their sound. From their split to their newest ep, they’ve gotten heavier, explored, and Bryan has gone more raw in his vocals. You seem like such a lovely bloke. Love from the UK
Bryan is straight edge. He doesn’t drink something stronger than redbull at all and he doesn’t smoke
I would love to see you do a full watch through of A Tear in the Fabric of life. I would watch a 3 hour videos breaking down that EP.
Awesome!! Love this band
You and TanktheTech are some of my favorite reactors and I've only seen this video of yours. I like a couple of the other big ones but man as far as two people more into the metal scene than the others, it's cool to see you both break down stuff like this.
Thanks for watching dude, glad you dig it!
One of my favorite bands thanks Mark!
Thanks for watching, dude!
@@KardavoxAcademy seeing your pure joy in this reaction was amazing. That surge of caveman tendencies you felt is how all of us feel when we listen to them. Their energy is intense and you can imagine there shows!! Ive seen a couple times at the underground in mesa
I know you try to keep new stuff on the shelf for future videos, but I cannot overstate how good their new EP is. Also the rest of A Different Shade of Blue and everything else they’ve put out is phenomenal and deserves a listen if you don’t plan on turning them into future reactions. Also would love to see a Dying Wish reaction on the future, Emma’s vocals are insane.
When I first heard them I didn't know what to expect either, they do not disappoint!
And yes that new ep goes hard 🤘🏻
3:38 "Woof". Oddly appropriate for a Knocked Loose reaction
I'm glad I found your channel!
Me @ 6:42 "This guy gets it" subbed 😂
Lol i actually have a Knocked Loose tattoo so this was awesome.
I dont know alot of screaming technique but ive always admired Bryan Garris' uniqueness
My first time hearing them as well, reminds me of like a Comeback Kid vocals.
Mark + sword + KL on repeat?! Best video reaction ever
