She fuckin' shreds. I remember back in the day there were barely a handful of good female drummers. Now there are a bunch, but this chick really has it all. She's creative. She has power. She has finesse... And most important of all she plays heavy with a pocket deeeeeep in the groove. That's what most drummers lack. She has it in spades. Add in the fact that she's an excellent vocalist and song writer....damn. Oh yeah I forgot the stage presence. Off the fucking charts.

I'm telling you, no lie, no exaggeration, I've been listening to these ladies for 18 months, and every single day, they blow my mind.
Dust To Dust is the song that led quite a few of us fans down The Warning rabbit hole. An early concert video convinced me I HAD to see them live. To date, i have been able to attend one show, but I'm hoping that I get the chance to attend more.

I'm sitting at 10 shows. All in the past 13 months. I'm hitting 3 more in August. After those three I will have seen 13 shows in 8 states. (Florida, Louisiana, Texas, Georgia, Alabama, Ohio, Indiana and Michigan)

They was smack dab in the middle of a 100+ show tour, when they did these CDMX shows at 7000+ ft elevation. What they did up until this point, was nothing short of amazing. In 2022 alone, they rocked ( and shocked ), 5 countries on two continents. What they have done since this performance, is simply incredible. I have never met a harder working group of down to earth, friendly, caring, and gifted youngsters, in my life. You and your subs need to check them out live, any chance you get. They will change your outlook on life, they hit that hard.
I only found out about them a week ago and already a huge fan. Hand me a shovel so I can keep digging that rabbit hole deeper. It's a little crowded down here, haha. 😄

We saw them in May at The Underground in Charlotte NC and they blew the roof off the place. They are one of the best live bands I have ever seen. We're going to see them again in September in Knoxville TN, and they are there with G&R.
Most warning fans know that Pau starts writing most of their songs then they all get together and finish it. Ale and Dany have written a few by themselves and started some. This song was started by Ale.
Killer song, first heard it when I found The Warning 1.5 years ago; first all-original song I heard by them and my favorite bass line in any of their songs!! Others may have a different favorite bass line by The Warning, but to me, if that bass line doesn't hook you and reel you in, well....
Pau has been singing while drumming since middle school. The venue is an old movie theater in Mexico City converted to concert venue that holds 3000+. This song is the prologue of ther rock novel, Queen of the Murder Scene, their second album.

I believe this venue is a historic opera house. Placid Domingo performed there? I think? That's part of why this show was so special for them.

Dust to Dust is the first song - prologue - from TW's 2nd album called Queen Of The Murder Scene (QOTMS) - a concept album telling the story of a young woman’s journey from desire, to love, to infatuation, to obsession, to psychotic, to murder, to remorse, and finally to suicide. Written by DPA while still mid-teens (or not even teen for Ale). Paul sings both the first and the last song of QOTMS, making a cycle where Dust To Dust includes the line “In the end everything just turns back into dust to dust”. The final lines of The End are “start again” and Dust To Dust says “and we shall start again”. They actually didn’t plan it that way from the beginning but liked the way it worked out.
They are definitely deserving of headlining big concerts and I feel the same as you. They are about to blow up, especially after this European tour - more eyes and ears are getting Warned!
They are touring Europe right now for the first time. Playing a combination of opening stadium shows for Muse, festivals and headlining shows. They just announced a small tour in August preceding the GNR show. They are playing a 7000+ venue in Mexico City in October. Their headline shows in US are still 400-1000 capacity. They need their next album to come out to reach the heights we all foresee for them.
Yeah I think within the next year they will be more of a household name especially after this tour and the other acts they will be playing with. Their fanbase is growing pretty rapidly, its awesome to see!!!

They're on tour right now in Europe, with headlining gigs as well as opening for Muse on their dates. JUST (today) announced a series of USA headlining dates in August - don't miss them if they're anywhere near you!
I don't know if you've watched some of the recent gigs on video but they are clicking on all fucking cylinders right now. they sound great.
In this day and age radio is dead, Spotify and other streaming services are the new radio. And there is where you can find the Warning

HEY.. my face has been that way since I first saw them on the Ellen Show a long time ago... Pau is a musical genius//monster on the drums .. the story of how that song was built, all started when PAU heard ALE noodling around with that opening base- line. One of those , "HEY" we can make a song out of that moments.. I want to see your reaction to "REVENANT" PAU sings that one.the best way to experience that brilliant song is by watching the official lyrics music video. Not many singing drummers for sure. Don Henley. Phil Collins. Karen Carpenter. Roger Taylor. a few others. But Pau is something special. A five-foot-tall dynamo. Thanks for such a good commentary on The Warning and where they are likely to go.
yeah we have had some greats through the years and she will be added to that list for sure! I wonder if we will see her follow in their footsteps and maybe come out from behind the kit and do a solo thing at some point
Thekillogiceffect, Pau did just that at this show. She came out from behind the kit to sing Narcisista, which she usually sings while drumming. Her drum teacher played the drums for that performance. Pau also sang Revenant at this show. She and her sisters were sitting on stools center stage for that beautiful performance.

You’re right, like a lot of bands they lost some momentum because of the pandemic, but they have been making it up the past year and a half by doing their own headlining shows, as well as festivals and supporting more well known bands. Enjoyed your reaction! 😎👍

This big exposure they are getting opening up for GNR, Muse, etc will really set them up for countless The Warning Army recruits.
Aside from the limitless talent, musicianship, potential, and charm.. What I find very endearing is the way they behave together. No me versus you, no unnecessary profanities, and no drama.

I'm enjoying your reactions and thoughtful comments to The Warning. Dust to Dust from the 2018 Lunario concert is the song that sucked me into The Warning rabbit hole. That song is the prologue to their concept album, Queen of the Murder Scene, which was nominated for best rock/hard rock album at the 17th Independent Music Awards. What never ceases to amaze me is how Pau can do the double time section of the song, stop on a dime, and immediately sing again, without being out of breath.
Truly some amazing stuff I look forward to checking out more from them!!!
My top favorite song from them. That Ale Thundering driving Bass line, The ground quaking rocking drums and Pau's ability to sing while beating the hell out of her kit. Then the finish with Dany's powerful long wailing belt makes this a perfect song for me. All of their songs are great, but this one just beats them out for top spot.

Dust to Dust is a prologue that invites the listener into the story and introduces the main themes - life/death, good/evil, truth/lies, etc. The Spanish section is that of a preacher saying that you can receive salvation but it is something that you must work for. The lyrics have deeply religious undertones - life is short and unpredictable (“How quickly things can unfold”); there is an afterlife (“and we shall start again” and “the truth found in death”); we should distrust false prophets (“where are you going? Don’t trust all that you hear”); and judgment (“I don’t seek right or wrong”).
