I have made the same recipe with chicken breast boneless it's great over mashed potatoes The only difference is mine is a quarter cup of Russian dressing a quarter cup of bacon bits and a quarter cup of orange juice it's wonderful it's called autumn chicken those ingredients are on top of the jelloied cranberry sauce with cranberries and the dry onion soup mix
Hi, I would think if you have that many chicken thighs you would need at least 1/2 c. of French or Russian & orange juice
Thank you for this recipe. I bought some chicken thighs and was wondering just how I was going to cook them and now I know. It all sounds yummy.
Better yet cover casserole with a plate. I have an oval corelle platter that I use. No toxins released heating plastic and no waste in trash. Can store leftovers in fridge covered with same plate.
I used to make chicken wings with onion soup, Russian dressing and apricot jam. I'll have to try this one as I can't find Russian dressing anymore.
@@randimalone8042 I am going to make that very recipe with chicken thighs for next weeks video. Thanks for reminding me about it!
Thousand island dressing is close to Russian dressing.
I got some on Amazon
Lots of recipes online for French, Russian, Thousand Island, Italian, etc dressings. I made homemade French dressing last week using a small whisk - easy, quick, and delicious!
French dressing would be the same
Our family loves cranberry chicken it is a big company pleaser I make it the same way you do except for I use chicken breast and you know what else is absolutely delicious is turkey breast and also we always made it as a cranberry chicken pocket my version is with the whole cranberries the same brand name but the whole cranberries and we use stuffing mix on the bottom try this version try it this way mix everything like you're mixing it breaded chicken but only if you're using chicken breast I just keep layering your items it is delicious I don't use the gel just because it has a lot of juice to it I just came across your video cranberry chicken recipe see if you make it the same way I do I don't use thighs I use chicken breast and or turkey breast

I made this recipe for my family last night and they absolutely loved it. I made my own onion soup mix due to sodium restrictions. Thank you!

Looks great! I was told about a slow cooker recipe for a Turkey breast using a can of cranberry sauce and one of whole cranberries plus the onion soup package like you used. I haven't tried it but it always sounded so good! This recipe looks amazing for chicken
@cindyk3325 thank you!
I like your channel. Great recipe!
Hi Colleen, Thighs are my favorite part of chicken and your whole plate looked amazing! It might be easy and as you said a lazy meal… but it looked fabulous! Blessings to you all! Keep up the great videos, from Tennessee!

I did end up making this! You’re right, super easy, really good! The leftovers are amazing too!
Hi Colleen, a sure-fire way to trim the broccoli of those hard stems is to peel it from the stem is to trim from the bottom. Then the peel comes off easily. Ann
That looks delicious, thanks for the recipe, will try it soon.
I am going to try this for my family. Looks wonderful 😊
Looks delicious, I'm definitely going to start cooking rice your way, thank you!!
@robindobiesz4006 hope it works great for you. Might take a little experimenting because each microwave is different but one you get it dialed in you won't do anything else. Cheers, Colleen
Nice! I’ll have to try your rice technique! I shy away from serving rice. Chicken looks yummy too!
This looks so good. I will be giving this recipe a try.

I love your functional kitchen
@moniquedepatie4734 thank you, I have to move some stuff around to film but overall it's a pretty functional space.
👩🏻💻🇺🇲I am not much of a cook but this recipe I am sure I can do. I love rice and wild rice the best. To make it even fast Stove Top Stuffing in a pinch with that sauce over the top sounds yummy. I wrote your instructions down and thanks a bunch!😊
