- WWE superstsars Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns of The Shield talk about the new Performance Center in Orlando, FL, some places they trained at when breaking into the business and their quick success in the WWE.
Dean wrestled in the Salvation Army in Indianapolis as Jon Moxley....he is a super nice guy. Will answer any question, and will sit and talk to you like you are his bro.
A few of my old friends wrestled Jon moxley
Brodie lee aka Luke and him used to travel together . And my friends actually hung out with him and he's a funny guy too . I wish I could meet him . But Jon aka has changed a lot with communicating with people and he's freaking badass and tons of talent I'm glad that Vince took him in
***** I'm from Indianapolis and last time he was in Indy he sent a tweet out and I got to meet the rest of the Shield. Roman is the strong silent type and Seth is a normal dude
He's a distant cousin see now my family came from Europe on my grandfathers side and the levesque family didn't come to America until the 1800s and the family tree is big
Scratch that off I just talked to my grandfather he said the levesques came to America in the 1600s .yup jean Paul Michael Levesque is my distant cousin .

Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins have the IT factor. These guys will be some megastars for sure in the close future.
When I first saw Dean Ambrose, I didn't think he was that attractive. My thoughts have changed though. I think he is very attractive and I love his voice.

Well, I totally believe that it was BECAUSE Dean came up in the business truly the hard way - starting out in rough facilities and then spending years in the indies in a variety of environments - that's why he is as good as he is today. He was no overnight success; he literally lived the school of hard knocks for what - around 8 years before he appeared on the WWE main roster. There's experience that ONLY experience itself can teach you, and while I'm not knocking the Performance Center, because it IS so "nice", it'll produce a different caliber of talent than the likes of Dean Ambrose and all others who made it to the top through years of grueling, old school-style experience.
I don't know why but the interviewer reminds me of those old ringside interviewers from the 70's and 80's.

Dean reminds me of Rocky Balboa Because, Rocky didn't train in a really nice facility at first he wasn't in a decent Facility until later.

All of those are current talents who look set to define the new era and there will of course be more coming along all the time - I think WWE's in great shape. There aren't many big time stars right now but Punk (who I ommitted because it's believed he'll retire young) and Bryan weren't big a couple of years ago and now they are.

Dean Ambroses thoughts on the new centre were impressive!
They need to hire guys like Buddy Landell, Jim Cornette, Jake Roberts, etc to teach the new guys how to promo because nowadays there are some guys with sick abilities and phenomenal athleticism but they get lost or don't get called up to the main because they have no mic skills. And if they want everyone to be on the mic then they should get the best guys on the mic to train these people how to be believable.

I know, right?! When Roman first came onto the FCW/NXT scene, I told my mom that he looked like a superstar whom I've seen before (then I realized that he's Rosey's brother); it turns out that he and Rosey are a part of the powerful Anoa'i wrestling dynasty. Their father is Sika of the WWE Hall of Fame tag team, The Wild Samoans. They are also the cousins of Rikishi, Umaga, The Usos, Yokozuna, and The Rock (well, extended family with Rock). So many great wrestlers came from that family :)

That was the original intent but Roman and Seth said they'd be the tag champions as they work better together and can do good combination moves

Some people just naturally fidget. I do the same thing. It's hard to stay in one place for too long, and some people talk better when they shift focus partially.

Roman Reigns = Batista
Dean Ambrose= Piper/Terry Funk-esque
The funny thing is he's really like that. He was wrestling before The Dark Knight was made and I swear that character was based on him. Look up some Jon Moxley (His other wrestling name) vids on You Tube and you'll see what I'm talking about...

So you are saying that Ambrose is wearing thicker boots than Reigns?
Ambrose has been billed as 6'4 for years now, not just in WWE, and watching his indy work, it's clear that he is much taller than most of the guys he worked with.
He is definitely not shorter than Reigns, anyone who has taken a photography class can explain the optical illusion here that makes Reigns look taller.

Notice posture. Ambrose was recruited because he was 6'4. Reigns is standing straight up, whereas Ambrose is hunched over a bit. Plus, Ambrose is standing behind Reigns in the shot, which distorts the view. Ambrose is definitely as tall as Reigns, standing up straight.
