Man. Thank you. There's not very much on this out there that makes sense. Very much appreciated, as I was put in charge of moving a business to the cloud and had no prior experience.

Great tutorial! Congrats! If you allow me to ask a question, how to stop sync attributes like company name, department and job tittle from AD, in order to manage directly on AAD? Thank you in advance

      .
Thank you for your kind words! To stop sync attributes like company name, department and job title from AD, you can turn off attribute synchronization by going to the Azure Active Directory > Users > Source Anchor > Edit > Select ‘No’ for the ‘Synchronize all attributes from the on-premises directory’ option. You can then manage this information directly in AAD. I hope this helps. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any further questions.

I have two questions, can you please provide your inputs -
1 - If i want to sync a new attribute to azure ad:
firstly i need to select that attribute in synchronisation service manager in AD connector and as well azure connector and then create a rule?
Once the rule is created, after full import and full sync, the attribute will be synced to azure.
Please correct me if i am wrong.
2 - can we say that all the attributes which are selected in synchronisation service manager in azure ad connector will sync to azure ad ?
    Thanks in advance

Hello @shifransk5845, thank you for your questions.
1 - To sync a new attribute to Azure AD, you are correct in that you would need to select the attribute in both the synchronization service manager in the AD connector and the Azure connector, and then create a synchronization rule. After completing a full import and full sync, the attribute should be synced to Azure. Your understanding seems accurate.
2 - Not necessarily all attributes selected in the synchronization service manager in the Azure AD connector will sync to Azure AD. It ultimately depends on the specific configuration and rules set up for synchronization. Different attributes may have different rules or conditions for syncing.
I hope this helps clarify your questions. Feel free to reach out if you need further assistance. Thank you.

@@PaddyMaddy26 thank you so much for the quick response.
      2) but how can we know all the list of attributes that are syncing to azure ad, is there a way to get those details or else do we need to check each and every sync rule.
Or else can we consider what are all the attributes checked in all the connectors will sync to azure ad
