    Really detailed and encouraging. Building from abroad is a big deal! Could you let me know the total cost of flowing just the first floor please? Thanks.

      If you mean total cost with carpentry, steel bending etc included, then add the cost in this Ep to that of Eps 14 (carpentry), 15 (steel bending), 16 (pipes and plumbing) .

      Whatever time you start, closing is at 6pm for the concrete mixer even if the masons want to work after 6pm. You can also agree on the work hours with them during the rental

    Great video.
    What is the size (area) you are casting?
    Also can I have your contact?

      Unfortunately we don't refer artisans cos of past experience.
      We didn't have a foreman though. We just got the workers and supervised ourselves.

    Thank you for this video, is it possible to get the concrete mixers contact information, I am building as well and my concrete mixers always ask me to by 2/4 wood to use as post to lift the concrete container up to the top, but I do see that your concrete mixers using a metal post to lift theirs which makes a lot of sense and also secure.

    • @Lerwincel
      @Lerwincel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's rather strange you were asked to buy 2x4. I have rented from three different places and they always come with their pole (wood or metal). I am not sure of your location but there are multiple mixers lined up by the Adenta-Oyibi and Atomic-Kwabenya roads with their contact details. We got ours from one of those by the roads just by calling the numbers on the mixer

    Thanks for the great video. What's the formula to calculate how much iron rods will be required per floor

    • @Lerwincel
      @Lerwincel  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You just need to know the spacing between the rods (usually 6 inches) and then, the length and width of the area. The length of one rod is between 28 and 30 feet. Check Episodes 15 and 16 for more info

      They have a concrete structural handbook that it use to determine the number of iron rod, size ect.
