She’s butthurt that their films aren’t working. Even her husband is a filmmaker cum producer and delivered some big hits but their formulas aren’t working. Atleast, not as good as Pan Indian films from the South. Leave Pan India, their films aren’t working where they are supposed to atleast i.e. the Hindi states. If any film does well in Hindi states or states except the south, film can easily make 200-250 cr. They are not even reaching that milestone lately. There is a disconnect between filmmaker’s and the ‘theatre going audience’. I specifically say ‘theatre going audience’ cos no one goes to a hall to watch ‘’Geharaiyyan’ or ‘Kapoor & Sons’. They come to hall to watch something like a Dabbang or Dangal. Films like G can always be enjoyed on OTT or small screen.
Respect for Yash for showing Anupama her place.

@@firefly3479 1st of all, why should it be given importance? The movie does what the story demands. If the story doesn't demand any such role, why do you expect a forced female character just to satisfy your Feminist urges?
Plus, the mother's character, as Yash said, is the main point of the movie. But still you say "it's a small and insignificant role". So aren't you the ones who are pushing down the female character? Not the director or the movie.
A story needs characters and the director casts whoever is suitable irrespective of their gender.
If you want to watch a movie about feminism or full of female characters, go for it. But you can't expect every movie to be like that just to suite your ideology
And in KGF 2, Raveena will be playing a very strong character. Let's see how many of you so called activists come up and praise the movie for that.

After watching movie. Came to watch this interview. It is brilliant that how these character totally understood their character. There is so much thought behind everything they do. They are so genuine at their work, so much dedication and humbleness at what they are doing, understanding, it just a perfect qualities for a good actor and a good producer.
It's a great interview, it has successfully shown this perspective of yash and prashath. Kudos to this. I definitely know this all gonna be a great cinema in coming near.

I think Yash and Prashanth responded to the "logic" question absolutely on point.. The Audience isn't nitpicking these "anti-gravity" scenes, KGF isn't KGF only because of the Larger than Life sets or action scenes, the story is one of the best that I've seen in Indian Cinema, takes you through an emotional ride.. gives reasons to why everyone is how they are.. especially Rocky..
And that Kalashnikov Gesture will stay with us for ages..
When was the last time you saw people in talk about "what happened/will happen" theories in Indian Cinema
