Nothing wrong with a Sportsmanship award. Not to mention that many anglers in your area watch your video's and learn from them growing their abilities to adapt in tough situations. Nothing against you bubblegum yum dinger but have you concidered Zman TRD crawz when going after spots and smallies in creeks loaded with crawfish. Throw them something they are use to eating.
Agreed, TRD crawz are my go to river plastic for smallies!
I'd love to see John use the yum swim'n dinger instead of the regular dinger. The paddle tail gives it so much more action and let's you fish it so many different ways.
I love the CrawZ and BugZ. I use all colors of the former and usually Bama Bug(?) for the latter.

I love going up that creek but man it's not around the corner from the ramps... seems like by the time I yet into it I'm already beat from paddling/pedaling.
it is definitely easier with a peddle drive but was still some work

I wonder if you had used that spinnerbait before -- they're are notorious for getting dull, because the hooks are not easily replaceable or shapenable, though I like the strategy of using the spinnerbait early to cover a lot of water just to get on the board +1 Like

That kayaks looks like it gets pretty shallow.? I just got a 106 pdl and was wondering if you’d recommend putting it in shallower creeks and rivers, i know obviously I’d have to pdl out. Coming from a bonafide ss127 I was always hesitant to put that in shallower creeks and rivers cause of its haul
i have a 106 also and used it in a bunch of rivers and creeks, it does pretty well. I have the blank off plate when i know i wont use the drive

That’s 1 thing I’m glad we can do in our tournaments, some of the ones I do you can’t. Which aggravates me, it’s a kayak tournament not a boat tournament
