Looks like it was constructed with some 2 x 4s' and some twine. One bad storm would knock the whole thing over! Doesn't look like a treehouse, more like a tree platform!
Dru Blood it was made from recycled materials and beach trash. Felt pretty sturdy and I am sure it has Ben weathered through some decent storms at this point.
Jason, your treehouse is magnificent! I'm trying to recall where Manoa Park is located. I lived on Oahu for several years in the early 70s, right off University Avenue. Guess I'll have to Google it! Aloha and Mahalo!
I've never heard of manoa park but if you are walking/driving/what ever in to manoa valley the treehouse is in the back of the valley on the right side the the valley. The koko head side not the ewa side

The tree house actually belongs to a doctor named daniel he a super nice guy and he pretty much let's any one come hang out in his cool tree house

No I did not, but we helped a bit with fixing things up while we were there. It was an incredible place to spend time
