I love the sports mobile Ford van, I would love to have one. Too bad Ford stopped production. Very cool builds but I don't have a limitless budget but it's still nice to look. Awesome vid bro.
Great to see so many companies. 👍 It seems some of the big players are not as prevalent as last year. Don't see as many Australian canopy systems as before. Patriot Games has some great builds. Still something to be said for a simple rack system 🤔
The show seemed big with more attendees since Covid restrictions were dropped…but exibitors seemed less. No ford no Chevy no Honda no Nissan no hyundai/Kia
@@mixflip I would imagine a number of reasons those big auto manufacturers dropped out this year. Beyond the obvious Possibility of economic downturn Lack of new products/models (without major issues. Not just Bronco but Kia ev, etc) Each section seems to have its over the top and built out mods on the major brands anyway. So brand representation in form of brand integrations and affinity transference tends to do more positive pr. Was Domedic a big booth? Haven't seen them yet.
Dometic had a booth just outside the overland experience. I didn’t get a chance to go back and film them since I left the show a day earlier than planned. I agree with you points too. The world is struggling right now with inflation, 7% interest on loans, verge of war in Europe etc…. SEMA is about fresh and new and over the top…. If ford Chevy and Honda don’t have anything exciting and new…. It would just be a big waste of money to send a crew to Vegas.
truck airbedz need to make one for the 3rd gen 4runners ... it'll be a hit! because they are 4x4 offroad vehicles campers as well.. it foldable to make a bed and the rear with wayy more room than a jeep rubicon 4 door.
I filmed the electrified section and did a walkthrough there. I saw a lot of classics electrified. Even the most sacrilegious build ever…. A 1965 Shelby cobra converted into an electric cobra.
next time make sure you take a straight picute of all the QR codes for the product information. Would have been nice to have researched some of the products.

Loved the content but the constant camera motion made my wife nauseated and she had to stop watching and she loves this stuff. We get awesome ideas from all these vids.
Good report as always, but I have to chuckle at all the products that catch the eye but are useless on the trail. And the crew cab pickups with a camper on back, lawdy. Terrible approach and departure angles plus a wheel base that's a block long. We won't be seeing that thing very far off a graded dirt road.
I guess it depends on how and where you camp. Out here in the west we have a lot of wide open spaces especially in Nevada Arizona Utah and New Mexico. Big off road vehicles get around pretty easily most of the time. I’ve seen several global expedition vehicles at Death Valley and Tahoe. Also I think most overlanders aren’t hard core rock crawlers like the jeep guys. For me I’d like to use my truck and a rooftop tent in tight camp sites then use a travel trailer for the family as a basecamp at bigger places like Yellowstone or Grand Canyon.

They have been targeted by thieves in SoCal I’ve heard. They take them to Mexico and even if they are found they can’t be recovered.
