Awesome job on this handgun! The cerakote looks very bright and flashy without using a tacky color. And the contrast with the controls looks nice. A very handsome and clean piece indeed. I kind of like this more than your stonewash gray cerakote, but not so sure I would be happy with something so bright.
Who makes that safety? It looks to me like it has a detente to make it safe to carry cocked and locked. I just bought a rare aluminum framed, European police trade in Hi-Power that I'll be calling tomorrow afternoon about. I want to have it refinished and a few things addressed (the front sight looks like someone took a Ball-peen hammer to it), but I'd like to keep it looking somewhat original.
Recently subscribed and have been binge watching you BHP builds. Great work! You mention in one vid that you achieve the zero take up by altering the transfer bar. Are you fabricating a new bar or doing a silver solder build up on the existing bar? Am I correct in assuming that you are adding material to the bottom of the front (trigger side) of the bar? Inquiring minds want to know.
I don't really understand the choice for a spurless hammer; correct me if I'm wrong but the hi-power is a SAO gun so when preforming administrative handling of the gun you've lost the ability to safely drop the hammer on a loaded chamber.
Marshall Lynch, A thought of mine as well. For sure a condition 1 "cocked 'n locked" carry for defense. And for 'administrative handling' the deleted magazine disconnect might have been useful in this superb speciman for unchambering the live round with magazine removed, then reinserting a confirmed empty magazine to drop the hammer.
I thought about that for a few minutes, as this is a very appealing option IMO. There is no truly "safe" way to drop the hammer on a loaded chamber. There are safer ways, but that's not how the gun was designed to function. Long story short... If you're going to "adminstratively" handle a gun, it should be unloaded and cleared properly. Mag out. Lock the slide to the rear and eject chambered round. Confirm chamber clear. Safely handle your gun.
Question, I have a cerakoted bhp. Is it ok to machine Novak sights on the pistol? I was told I should have installed the sights before cerakoting. Does it matter?
Hey I want to do a 2 tone on my browning hi power. What's your email? Can we discuss options? I want blues bottom stainless steel top with black pieces an my wood grips on. I have this same pistol but matte black and a hammer shown!
Beautiful browning hi power is good 👍🏻
Yes it is
Attention to detail is superb.
I’ve been subscribed since you were Sin City Reviews and I must say, this is my favorite project of yours. Excellent!
Well thanks Jewels, yea it's one of my favorites too.

It's a very striking pistol, and quite flash, but I love it.
Beautiful, that cerakote looks almost chrome
Yes, very much like hard chrome.
You do beautiful work, nice firearm. 👍
Glad you like it Greg
Fit and finish is impeccable Sir! Very well done 👌🏼
Thanks!
Very well done indeed. Not the choices I would necessarily have made for my hi-power, but nevertheless exquisite work. Please keep uploading this
Yessir.
Love it!!! My favorite color scheme that I do almost all my customs in now. But I do it in the NP3+ and DLC
Oh nice!
It's a beauty Kevin! Outdone yourself!
LOL thanks my friend. She's a beauty, and a very well deserved owner you are! I'll have your rifle done soon sir.

Thumb roll decock method should work.
Been wondering about that hammer, which I love, does taking away metal (mass) change the operation? If it does do you have to change something else?
Yes you have to modify and tune a few springs.
Is the barrel cerakoted?
Like the hammer
How come it look more hard chrome than the others ?
I think it's just the lighting. I did this video at night.

Can you work on the hi power clones? I can’t really tell from your website
Yes we work on all hi powers and clones. We have a hi-power play list here on our TH-cam page showing plenty of them.
This is one awesome sexy awesome build! Just sayin...
That is nice what barrel is that
It's factory.
MK3 Firearms what year Hi-Power is that the barrel looks different
It's a recent mark 3, but we crowned the barrel at 45 degrees.
Which heine sights are these?
They're Dan Wesson cz 1911 sights.

I can't understand clearly. Could you state the exact make and model of this particular rear sight please ?
Yes, it's the CZ Dan Wesson 1911 Novak.
What color is this
Satin aluminum.
How much would all that custom work cost?
Most of our builds range between $1,000-$2,000
