Let's get ONE issue corrected with the entire 'Pentastar Palace Products'- G.Y.C. mesh. With all impressive respect to the crew including uh, uh, oh yes- Mark•• After also growing up AS a MoPar- yes, I AM A MOPAR from the C-P Division who's Dad was Regional/Zone Manager in both Boston and HIS established N.York Zone Offices. Dad's involvement went from Chrysler- Plymouth Operations to Chrysler Defense and many other Corporate sectors. His MoPar son went on similarly with his eventual 181 Chrysler Products, Corporate Ops & so on. While the Hi-Po Plymouths and Dodges made up the majority of them, several brandy new ones were acquired as well. A drunken driver changed EVERYTHING•• forcing me into passion #2 [music production] yet still always driving a Chrysler, Plymouth, Dodge, Dodge Truck (Ram) & Jeep. One point to add is Dad's MoPar son sort of became- above all 383s, 440s & the rest- a Gorgeous '72 2- door New Yorker Brougham• full tilt (minus p/sun roof) in factory strong red/white padded vinyl roof/black leatherette living room [interior]. NOW, with tire, wheel & suspension mods, this puppy impressed EVERYONE. Then, a yes drunk driver creamed IT. Soberly wrapping here- Dad's mini me MoPar DID need a legit name according to Mom back then so while nearly the world knows me as # 1 "MoPar Man"•••it's actually••Oh Lord••'MoPar MARK'-sorry crew at G.Y.C. but Dad liked that name yet he passed away long before you all were on the map AND THUS the 1972 New Yorker Brougham [440 TNT like no other]. Be Well ALL
Sorry Crew, I intended to mention how truly impressive Alyssa has become with 'Mill Builds' and other aspects of the MoPar World Of Wonder. She may not dance at work but we bet COULD blow the quarter panels off of Mark if she did. Some of us Mark- named guys seemed to take forever to grow up- ah but so be it. Be Carefully busy & Be Well All.😮😊
Not certain if you're aware, the Vanishing Point Challenger R/T as used in the original movie had the houndstooth black and white cloth seats and POWER windows! Yes. In the longer-running European version of the movie (with Charlotte Ramping scenes), Kowalski operates the power windows, which you can actually hear. Then you can see the power windows switch plate next to his left leg. A lot of folks have built replica VP Challengers...nobody has gotten that feature right! Good luck! Oh - and how did Alyssa not inherit Mark's schnoz?
Alyssa‘s autopsy report was truly awesome and informative 🚬😎👍🏼 💨💨 good job Alyssa ‼️ I had fun following along on my fender tag for my 73 challenger and I have been trying to find that car to buy it back for so long and she taught me that the last six numbers on the bottom row is the last part of the Vin # which totally helps me in my search thank you Alyssa
This was a good one...for the most part. Marks dancing needs to stop...I am here to see cars get restored...not dancing. Thats Saturday Night Fever...it needs to stay there. The autopsy report Alyssa did was PERFECT!! Laid everything out and flowed smoothly...A+++++++...cue the scene in 'A Christmas Story' of Ralphies dream sequence of getting A+++ all around the room from the teacher going gaga. Great job!! The clips showing the old ads and dealer films are a great idea also.
4k episodes are really wonderful, keep up the great work! Vanishing Point Challenger looks so stunning in 4k! This is the best most current & modern auto show hands down.
Check out the last 1to3 seconds before the car hits the bulldozers. You will see an extremely fast image flash of white 69 Camaro. Not sure if it's in all the versions of the film, but it is definitely there in some.
Allysa can build a whole car motor, and car. You go girl proud of you! The Munsters are a great show. Only lasted 2 years because Fred Gwynne got too hot and sick from all that weight suit. Still can get box set, and all 2 years episodes, and 2 movies.
Check out Nicks Garage if you want to see a perfect Vanishing Point car. Nick drives a Kowalski car. Also Nick is a Mopar aficionado. Ok yes I like Mark! He has a good show.
I've road in Nick's car, and he drives it. I live only 4 hours from indy auto. Known as Nick's garage. One of the nicest built I've ever seen its exactly the same
Im reading about dipping...people cautioning about the seams being attacked by the stripper and rusting. Also, complaint about priming difficult to reach areas - thus limited corrosion protection. Y'alls thoughts?
I think Mark’s Dance moves are of the highest caliber. His dancing talent holds no bounds. Maybe if will stopped being a Negative Nancy or a Debbie Downer he could take advantage of having a master teach him something more then just being a #2 painter. 😊💯
Mark, your comedy is strait out of Good Morning Vietnam. And I don't mean Cronhour. You don't have pacing. These are funny bits when used right. And your killing it like Lt Steve and Frenchy. Get what I'm saying?
Have you never watched the show before? All car's are stripped and dipped before metal work begins. When they use a donor car for parts, the parts are also dipped. So yes, the panel was rust free before going on the car. He even talked about it earlier this season for the sun roof charger.
To bad that Mag force kit didn't come out in the 70's those chrysler products didn't align well...spot welds broke easily....gave my Hunter light align nightmares. It amazes me Alyssa doesn't have PTSD have been raised by Crazy Mark, "The Ice Bucket Head". Someone should mount a tachometer in his forehead. Mark must have been picked on in elementary school.
Have nothing but Love for Mopar but I owned cars made by them back in the 1970s my first car was s Dodge Cornett 440 with a 383 then a Baracuda 1970 convertible 318 with shit drum brakes then I bought a 1972 Dodge Charger 440 Four speed I bought in 1980 for 400 dollars very powerful but could not keep a clutch in it for long loved that pistol grip shifter.they where all rust buckets shit paint shit valve seals drank oil and horrible interiors that ripped up . In 1982 I bought a 340 Duster 1970 much better car !
It's not graveyard cars it's the dewfrst hour keep it about the cars not the drama you should show case a different car every week we want to see the cars not movie skeets
I really wish they would show less of the painter, something about him, with his millennial d-bag hat bill and his knee high socks. He's trying to be so different by being trendy.
I just learned a lot. I fought it but learned anyway. Thanks!

WoW! i remember that now . . . this is going to be awesome, how did nick's garage do his kowalski?
Wasn't the VP Challenger also a 426 Hemi? or is that only in the remake?
Because Mark continuously keeps up the nonstop escapades, the GYC car will quickly become 'The Vanity Point' Challenger.
Far out, Mark!!! I saw it with "Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry" in a Sunday matinee with my brother and sister in '76!

Love that car Nick's garage has done that car and it's a beautiful 🚗
Check out Nicks Garage if you want to see a perfect Vanishing Point car. Nick drives a Kowalski car. Also Nick is a Mopar aficionado. Ok yes I like Mark! He has a good show.
Nick is a good ole Canadian boy, from Montreal..
I've road in Nick's car, and he drives it. I live only 4 hours from indy auto. Known as Nick's garage. One of the nicest built I've ever seen its exactly the same
I remember when he went up north to get that car.
Like the cars both shows but antics and babbling on both only allow for limited viewing
Nicks garage is awesome
The Alyssa Rose Sounds like a Ship! We sailed on the Alyssa Rose! ha! You go Girl!
Im reading about dipping...people cautioning about the seams being attacked by the stripper and rusting. Also, complaint about priming difficult to reach areas - thus limited corrosion protection. Y'alls thoughts?
That is cool that the ghouls did a tribute to a vanishing point car
I want a Convertable white 1971 Cuda 340
If you look at the hood that goes flying in the air at the bulldozers, it`s a different hood than on the car during the movie.
They used a Camaro in the final scene, not a Challenger, why the hood was different. They didn't want to trash out a Challenger.
I think an former friend of my brothers own the original in Southern Orange County, in California?
Super Trey!
Mark you look like Steven Spielberg in that photo
Walnut media blasted or Drastic Plastic?
Did Dough say shifting hemi 440
The crew may look ridiculous dancing but at least Mark doesn’t look like a hobo that can’t afford a shave. Sasquatch! 😂
I think Mark’s Dance moves are of the highest caliber. His dancing talent holds no bounds. Maybe if will stopped being a Negative Nancy or a Debbie Downer he could take advantage of having a master teach him something more then just being a #2 painter. 😊💯

Your Daughter is right. You should listen to her.
Did they clean up the rust after they removed the old inner fender? If not shame on them. I wouldn't have them do my car.

This is getting more lame by the minute, great cars ,but to much Babble talk....
I think your daughter should do that instead of you because she looks a hell of a lot better
