I just got back from the muffler shop from installing the same exhaust. If you want a loud exhaust when you gas it then this is definitely the way to go. I love it and in person it sounds even better than in the video.
drop a K&N drop in filter in as well and that will make it sound more throaty due to more air flow. youll gain a little more performance and Gas mileage was well.

I get minimal drone with the same setup, only difference is that yours is an automatic I believe, but I'm judging that off your factory remote start that I don't think was available for manual transmissions. The only drone I ever get is at low RPM, so perhaps switch it into sport mode so it shifts at higher RPM?

yup, it's the resonators. everythings ina different position under the car, and that changes the tone. even borlas sound completely different on the 15+

I have a video on my channel showing the drone. It's a certain sound pitch that is very loud and annoying, and will give you a headache if you cruise at that speed for a while. I don't recommend this exhaust based on that alone. I'd spend a little extra money and find a system that doesn't drone.

They are quite a bit louder than stock but not as loud as straight pipes. I don't recommend these to anyone due to the horrible drone at highway speeds. I have another video showing it.
Unfortunately I don't have any experience with Magnaflow systems on mustangs. I would just search around on youtube for videos on what you're describing

+zebulon new Not that I can tell...the axleback systems are more for sound than performance gains I think. The resonator and catalyst create a larger exhaust restriction than the mufflers did, so there is not a noticeable difference now.
bkhaja89 if you wanted power gains you would have to get cat back. Delete the cats and resonators get and off road x pipe and you'll see the biggest gains there
ricardo mercado Sound only changes slightly in first 1-2 hours, then remains constant. I highly recommend installing this on your car as one of your first mods
Haden McAtee They are axleback, so they only replace the rear mufflers behind the back wheels. These ones were specific to the V6, I think the GT ones are different.
So that's almost just a straight pipe axle back. Is it worth it tho? I mean you could have gotten custom ones for a lot cheaper. Sounds great by the way
It is close to straight pipe but there are some muffling chambers in them, so they help get rid of some of the raspiness you hear in systems like the roush and borla. The tips look pretty nice too. I think it was definitely worth the price over axleback straight pipes. Thanks for the comment!
Not a very noticeably effect on performance, maybe a but more top end power (or it could just be an illusion). No tuning necessary for axleback systems.
Actually, yes. I have a couple other videos of the exhaust. Main issue is the horrible drone. It's super loud and gets even worse over time. Might want to do some more research before making your choice on this one...hope that helps

Other choice would be to go with one of the more expensive systems, i.e. Corsa/Borla, which don't have any drone but may be a bit more muffled.

ScreaM V2 I don't have any experience with the Roush system unfortunately, but I have heard that it is a raspier exhaust. So it depends on your preference I guess... but the Flowmaster system definitely has a lot of drone, so be aware of that.

I installed my flowmaster outlaw and it sounds 100x better than this, they're loud and very drony. Really drony, before you install it make sure you get a jpipe as well to reduce some of the drone. It's really loud inside the car.
I installed these on my 2015 V6, and yes, the drone is AWFUL! I don’t want to get rid of the exhaust because it does sound so amazing on the outside! I’ll try the J-pipe recommendation. Thanks!

@@jamieleightee Before you do, do some research on it. There is a chart detailing the length of the pipe to reduce the drone at a certain RPM
