Russia withdrawing troops from Ukraine to counter Kursk offensive officials say

Ukraine’s commander in chief, Oleksandr Syrskyi, announced that Ukrainian troops advanced about a mile in various areas of the Kursk region, in addition to the 386 square miles that Ukraine previously claimed to capture. The Associated Press reported some Russian troops being pulled from inside Ukraine and back across the border to stop the incursion.
Ukraine has also stepped up their air attacks against the Russian military targets inside Russia. Russia said that it shot down 117 Ukrainian drones overnight and four missiles. Ukraine struck four Russian air bases in the biggest Ukrainian drone attack that's been carried out against Russia since the full-scale invasion began.
