My wife and I did the VIP Experience while on our Honeymoon last year and it was definitely a cool experience. We went during Labor Day weekend and it was PACKED! Our tour started at 9am and we did the backlot first thing then our tour guide took us on a few rides before lunch. We were a little bummed that we didn't get to see the prop shop or walk around the Jaws area, but we still had a great time.
After lunch we had a medical emergency and had to break off from our tour, but the Universal staff was amazing and provided us free transportation to the hospital. Later that evening we got a call from Universal and they gave us an extra day with Express pass to unlimited front of the line rides and shows to make up for the missed afternoon experience. Universal staff went above and beyond for us, they were amazing.
I did this 30 years ago and not much has changed!
That’s so sweet that they would do that for you guys I hope that medical emergency didn’t put to much of a damper on your guy’s honeymoon! Also ik it’s late but congrats on getting married!
@@alyssavermette9585 Thank you so much! We actually got married in 2020, but because of COVID we had to postpone our reception and honeymoon. The trip to Universal was a place holder until we went to Hawaii this past December for our actual Honeymoon lol. We had a wonderful time, we did two days at Universal and then drove down to Anaheim to spend two days at Disney. We are Key Holders for Disney, but my wife had never been to Universal and it's been almost 20 years since the last time I went.
@@josephagundez5336 you’re welcome my parents are dvc members so we go either every year or every other year and I love universal although it’s been maybe 4-5 years since I’ve last gone I’m a big Harry Potter fan so I’ve got the robe and wand and stuff so I’ve had fun when I go I usually spend a majority of the time there but I’ve wanted to do that vip experience but because we live on the east coast we always go to the Florida parks and they don’t have the sets and stuff and they got rid of the tram tours and I’m assuming the bus tour as no one is allowed behind the scenes anymore last I heard so I don’t think they have the vip tours there. I hope one day I get to experience the Cali parks.

My family and I are wanting to come to Universal Hollywood so I was wondering so what’s the cost when you do the VIP tours and so do you they have discounts for like Police or Military? and I’m actually starting to write scripts so when I go to Universal Hollywood would I be able to show like the people the review the movie scripts and I just started to write scripts so I was wondering what they would say plus I’m named after a Cowboy and that was Wyatt Earp and so I was wondering is their anything else that’s fun with the VIP experience pass what you recommend that me and my family recommend and I would love to go on the VIP trolley as well and my favorite Fast and Furious ride or die but I got the Jurassic Alive and you could just catch the dinosaurs if they are in your area and so that’s my question do they do like discounts for Military or Police ? I love the backlots!! I’ve been to about 4 tapings of THE VOICE over the past few years and I love being part of the back lots and getting to see all the busy productions going on. I was there last summer for the first blind audition taping and I was one of the very rare few to interact and speak with Ariana Grande 🥹 my queen.

Traveled from Tennessee with my brother back in September to check out the VIP tour, had a blast and it was such a unique experience and they treated us like royalty, it was awesome and I’m glad you guys got to experience it!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I did this a few years ago. Walking around the prop warehouse and walking the superstore set were the highlights! We didn’t get to walk around the jaws area though, that was a great addition. Great video! Looked like a great day.

We did the tour last year and it was awesome!!! Mondo one thing if I can suggest is to arrive early for breakfast. We totally missed it because we were late. But man, thanks for sharing this video. Keep up the good work man

I did the VIP tour with my family in 2016 and was able to walk on the set of the good place but wasn’t able to take pictures
They typically don’t allow it when a show is on air or filming

So I am thinking on getting the VIP experience this July, and I know at the end of the video u talked about being able to ride all the rides. But I'm not clear on. Once the VIP experience is over, do u get to keep getting in front of the lines multiple times for like Jurassic world?

One more , do you only get breakfast if you do a morning tour or do all tours include breakfast & lunch ??
Cool vid of the V.I.P tour ..there are OBV parts you may or may not get to see on the tour due to filming as happened with the courthouse BUT i was wondering if you got to go down elm street ? its the turn off just before the chicken ranch house and colonial street sometimes the vip tours visit that as the vip tour buses are the only ones that can get down the street and come back up it as its a dead end now (reg tour trams cant go down as to long and cant turn around) BUT it is a heavely use set apparently so if you do a vip tour and get to visit that your one of a rare few ! Also a part of the back lot that is not on ANY TOUR is the leave it to beaver house! after you have been to the war of the worlds set and turn right going past the falls lake blue screen lake on your way to the fast and furious attraction .....if you carried on going stright on instead of turning right that would take you to the leave it to beaver house and a few other unused set! i dont know why they dont include it on the vip tour as there is plenty of room to turn round there as you will see from google maps! I’m a fast and furious fan because I’ve seen the shows and movies on it and whenever I go to Universal Hollywood I am bringing my toy 1999 GTR Skyline R34 and so I’m a fast and furious fan and really I love Cars from Fast and Furious and I wanna collect more cars from that show and every good car Paul Walker drove in the Fast and Furious shows
