A Cryptex-style Cryptovault made of Wood

  • Here I take you through the process of making a Cryptovault, based on the Cryptex in the Dan Brown novel The Da Vinci Code (and the movie of the same name.). My method requires a lathe, pillar drill, bandsaw and a few specific Forstner-bit sizes. I also use a scrollsaw but you could accomplish the same objective with a bandsaw.
