I like your gumbo recipe because it's simple, I would blend up the onions and peppers because I have a family member who's on liquid/soft diet. I'll just take the meat out of her portion and add the blended veggies with the rest and everyone is happy.
A funny fir you..our daughter always ordered chicken fried steak when she was little because she said chicken was healthier😅we didnt have the heart to tell her that she was mixed up til she was a teenager. Then she was like WHATEVER i like steak too😮

All bay leaf brands come with a shaker top. Have no idea why but they do.
I guess the machines just automatically put a shaker top on every bottle. 🤷🏻♀️😆 Seems like a waste of plastic to me! Lol
