For anyone wondering about the details of what happened on that Wednesday night, I’ll explain a little bit:
Dave was indeed informed of the incoming inclement weather, and he responded accordingly (as you can see in the video). He handled this situation the best he could, and I respect the hell out of him properly addressing the fans on the matter.
The approaching lightning was intense in the minutes that followed after they put the show on hold. We discovered they had made the right call to pull the plug as the rain began to pour down on us.
We quickly evacuated the main floor as many others evacuated the seats up in the stands.
It would be a very long, difficult drive back home, so for everyone’s safety, the majority of us waited to see if the rain would let up a little bit.
I was lucky to get home safe along with my friends and their family. I hope everyone else did as well.
Fortunately, I did return to see the full set with my own family on Friday. I can confidently say that seeing both shows were well worth it.

I was there. Dave and the boys played as much as they could. What you don't see in this video was there was a lot more lightning while they were playing Learn to Fly. Dave tried to play Everlong in case we didn't come back. And we didn't come back.
We were hoping it was going to be one of the 20 mins summer storms but this storm did not let up. As disappointed as we were, they made the right call. 10 mins after Dave made that announcement the skies just opened up and it POURED. They cleared us out of our seats just in time. They wait for almost an hour to call it. And it just kept coming down for another 90 mins. We had a great time! Can't wait to see the Foos again!

The one at 2:05 is probably the most visible one.
I tried to capture it to the best of my ability, but you can in fact see it during the song as I focused my camera on the sky as well as the stage during Learn to Fly.
It was just hard to see at times in contrast to the brightness of the stage.

      It was too dangerous.
Most of us knew what to expect since inclement weather was projected to hit us that night.
The weather got too intense for the show to go on and they called it a night while all of us slowly but surely made our way out of the stadium.

      Unfortunately not.
It poured and rained on us hard and we all had to go.
