This is one of the many possible ways of causing Hank & Connor to have a hostile relationship with each other while also having enough instability to be able to turn Connor into a deviant during Crossroads.

I just realize this recently... No human can find Jericho, but Rose can, she knows exactly where Jerocho is, and she doesn't even need to start from Ferndale Station. Do anyone else think that she is the one who founded Jericho? She's been helping androids for a long time ago.
Or maybe one of the deviants trusted her enough to tell her everything about Jericho.
It is very interesting indeed as to how Rose knows where Jericho is. I'd think "One Russian Guy's" reply could be a reasonable assumption.

Jesus David Cage is ruthless to people who choose "remain as a machine" having machine say "why did you want freedom" or "I'm obedient unlike you" it's pretty obvious he wanted you to play the game one way but yet this is the most interactive story telling game I've played so it's forgiven

It's easy, make Hank hostile to you and make sure you have enough Software Instability to become a Deviant
I know it's been 5 years, but I'mma still say it: True, that's what you have to do but the hard part comes in having enough software instability to become deviant WHILE having hank be hostile to you. Most of the decisions that make your software instability rise are directly associated with pleasing Hank, so your relationship level with Hank will thus increase. You have to be really planned and methodical about every choice if you'd want to pull this one off.
Here's the problem... Deviant Connor *has a gun after shooting those guys* but... *he never uses it!*

It's the only thing the fish does, increase instability. Sadly there isn't a dialogue option where Connor would tell Hank that he saved a fish to make Hank like him more. XD
I don't think Kamski's test is well structured because he himself points out that its a machine. I think other humans would have shot Cloe all the same because they see a machine, not a living being.
If Kamski were to put an innocent human or even Hank in that position, someone who is undoubtedly alive and with feelings then I believe that would have been a much more clear way test if a machine has empathy.
I like what you are thinking with this, and I see where you’re coming from. But at the same time, androids are specifically programmed to not harm humans. Putting a human there instead of an android like Chloe would mean only a deviant would shoot the human, since a normal android is literally designed to not hurt a single human. If an android were to be deviant, however, then the choice wouldn’t matter whether they killed the human or not. Cause if they don’t shoot the human, they are just like every other non deviant android. If they DO shoot, that means that they feel threatened and some sort of resentment, and therefore show emotion enough to kill an innocent life.

Not necessarily. It is entirely possible to still get the deviant option even if you decide to shoot Chloe. It's more trickier but doable.

lol, not a problem. If you follow the steps you'll be able to get Connor to turn deviant with either North or Markus. As long as you remain tense with Hank by the end of "The Bridge" chapter, it should be smooth sailing.

@@elizabethcatlion7015 i was nice to hank with the small choices all game and i also saved him at the Stratford tower cause he had 40% survival rate but I died doing that but he didn’t like when I didn’t save him on the rooftop cause I thought he would live with 89% survival rate and I also shot the Traci cause I thought she was going to kill Conor then hank shot me when he was sitting by the pier I only died with Conor 2 times on my play through as well It was really Strange and I wasn’t expecting him to kill him self I was hostile going into Kamski with him but then I spared chole and he had a large increase but was still hostile and still killed him self when i went to this house with deviant Connor

I think, like I said, your relationship with Hank was too low for sparing Chloe to increase it. If he shot you in The Bridge that means he was already Hostile at that point, and if you chose to save him in Stratford Tower you get a relationship decrease when he sees you alive again (even though it seems like saving him would make him happy, it doesn’t because he doesn’t like when Connor dies).

Have as many software instabilities to become a deviant, but shoot the android at Kamski's place to make Hank suicide. Then you goto the Cyberlife Tower, that's it!

THE HOSTAGE
Save the fish
Shoot the deviant as Connor or let snipers shoot the deviant. If Connor is alive, then the software instability will increase in this chapter.
PARTNERS
At the bar, choose these options:
Threaten
Persist,
and choose to spill Hank's drink.
At the car, choose "Firm", and then proceed to find deviant.
THE INTERROGATION
After finding the deviant at "Partners", interrogate peacefully (dialogue choices are at 4:43) and choose Intervene thrice.
WAITING FOR HANK...
At the police station, talk to Miller and when Hank is at the police station, choose these options:
Basketball
Anti-androids
When at Hank's desk, choose these:
Aggressive
Threaten
ON THE RUN
*IMPORTANT: Kara and Alice must stay at the hotel (choose the hotel route at FUGITIVES) because this is where you will get Connor's "Tense" relationship with Hank in "THE BRIDGE" at **13:38**.*
Hank's relationship with Connor drops down when they arrive at the hotel (unavoidable). Get spotted by the police as Kara (or) check the blue door in the right side instead of following Hank up the stairs as Connor to initiate the chase. Then let Kara and Alice cross the highway and don't go after them by choosing "Give Up" when Hank doesn't let you go.
THE NEST
Choose "Lie" after a short discussion with Hank and don't find Rupert by standing still for a couple of minutes. When Hank asks Connor to leave with him, choose "Leave".
THE EDEN CLUB
Spare the Tracis.
THE BRIDGE
*If you follow this video, you'll end up with only "Neutral" relationship with Hank at the end of this chapter. This means Hank won't resign at the chapter LAST CHANCE, CONNOR. Refer ON THE RUN chapter conditions first before going to this one.*

This didn't work for me. Hank was tense and did not resign. I changed the Public Enemy to let Connor die by not getting back his heart and Hank was tense going to Meet Kamski which means Hostile and I was able to become deviant too

I followd this walkthrough exactly, but got to the end of The Bridge and Hank was only Neutral, not Tense. It shows Hank as Neutral at the end of The Eden Club chapter. Is there any other dialogue or anything missing from the walkthrough?
I know that this is a late reply, but what I did was: Shoot Daniel, probe memory of HK400, chose to chase Kara, chased Rupert instead of saving Hank, spared the Tracis, chose cold options at the Bridge, but choose "Yes" when Hank asks Connor if it's afraid to die, and my Hank was Hostile, and that's alright, I rushed Simon since you don't get any +reps with Hank, I also chose to spare the Chloe, obviously thru the game, choose as many options which will piss off Hank, and get as many software instabilities with Amanda

Black Zamasu it's simple but difficult if you don't know the right info and by that I mean with every opportunity keep Hank happy. I'm not sure if you want to be spoiled what happens if you stay friends so watch out

It's not too hard to still have a good relationship with Hank even if you happen to remain a machine during the final chapter. All you need to do is save Hank and choose not to shoot Chloe and you should be okay with Hank during the rooftop scene.
This is sad without Hank.

Never played the game (I only watch others' playthrough) but hope this helps.
As low Software Instability prevents Connor to be a deviant (thus he still remains a machine), instead of the CyberLife Tower chapter, his final chapter would be him trying to eliminate Markus/North once and for all. Here, before he executes it, Hank comes toward Connor. If they have a good relationship Connor will simply bid farewell to Hank.

Easy. Make connor a deviant, and choose the "trust" choice in "night of the soul" when talking to connor as markus.
