The wake alone is a problem what kind of design is this as does not cut through the water more like it pushes through so needs huge energy to make it move. What is it used for?
In aviation there is a saying "If it looks right, it will fly right." If the same principle applied in the maritime world, this beast would fall over! Were they trying to skimp on marina fees?
most of the weight in the ship is below the waterline which keeps it relatively stable. if you think about it theres probably not very much weight in the superstructure
most important reason is that boats shorter than 11 meter can fish almost as much fish as they want close to the coast and inside the fjords in norway. while longer-bigger boats have to fish offshore and have way more limits and regulations.
@@hans-karlmagnussen6800 In actuality, it was not the size I was making comment about and I am sure the owner/skipper is making money. The operative part of my comment was the "silly" referring to its dipropionate proportions. Even the bow wave it makes because of its stub nose, I don't know if it has a bulbus bow. There is no commentary or technical details so we are left to guess. The design looks so inefficient.

ни для чего - ошибка инженера - возможно таково было желание заказчика который не силен в гидродинамике ))
I guess the length is related to some regulation regarding the length of the boat, amount of crew, equipmen or some other matter....
yeah there is less rules for boats under a certain foot lenght, thats why they started to make these ugly compact boats
It's positively beautiful
😂
This is what happens when you are drunk at a drawing table .
Is the other 300 ft under water?

@@gyattrizz2024 КОРОТКИЙ а это плохо !!
This is probably to keep the ship below 15 meters in length. Then a lot of technical requirements will not be applicable.
Если рабочий теплоход для толкания или буксировки то нормально главное мощность и маневренность
Stilig skoeske detta.
Now that's what I call a real boat!
What is the purpose of this boat?
