Excellent video just something great about the old diesels especially the class 37 or maybe just nostalgia. I remember my first trainset was a lima class 37 car transporter set with the old blue and grey br coach. The class 37 scared me back then it was a beast menacing looking.
I see 58016 is there we had two 56s at nene from there ? I wish they would let people go inside and take pics on a weekend or something what are they going to do with alk that stuff
Thx for viewing , the 86s are going abroad except the green one (using for spares) and the 58 & 56 apparently are all owned by one person and are so say being done up ..
It's was filmed from the road bridge just at the end of the platform and the side view was filmed from an access road to the left of the bridge (down the bottom of some steps)
They habe 86 Electrics there ? They should keep them in operational order, they might use them for cargo traffic after the hard brexit....may help to save diesel fuel....
Thanks for filming this.I have lived in Australia for 12 years now and would love to have sat their all day.i miss this.(Paradise)!....,

Love the old locos in this region especially. Anyone got any tips for best access to location?
Some nice old locos there
Brilliant video even if the end was photobombed by that meridian. 104 looking like it could out clag a kettle
hi mate enjoyed watching your video of Leicester depot, except at the end the class 37 & 56 hid behind the train. But I think it is very good
Nice video to watch
Thanks for a great video. Do you know if the 58 is running or being restored?
Love the exhaust plume at the back. 😳

The class 86s had been sold to a company in Bulgaria and were awaiting movement abroard.
13:10 screenshot this, print it out and send it to greenpeace so they can hang it up in their foyer
Lol, I'm sure they will love it
The depot is run by DB Schenker....
The depot is operated by UK Rail Leasing. It is also used by the Rail Operations Group and Europhoenix. These are all spot hire locomotive companies.
