Train spotting at Leicester Station 21/2/2024 part 2

This is the second part of train spotting at Leicester station.
What a great station to see so much freight and passenger stock. I have loved travelling around the east coast main line and west coast. Every area has its different DMU and freight locations.

The building you were pointing to is the station taxi rank and drop off area. Never been a terminus there, or any sort of railway. running through the station forecourt. I guess there were stairs from their direct to the platforms before the current ticket hall. The station front is listed and looks very nice. The station ticket hall and the surrounding area is about to be redevoped too.
