Season 1, Episode 18 "Patrol"
Stream Seasons 1-6 of S.W.A.T. on Netflix (US): bit.ly/WatchSW...
Inspired by the television series and the feature film, S.W.A.T. stars Shemar Moore as a locally born and raised S.W.A.T. sergeant newly tasked to run a specialized tactical unit that is the last stop in law enforcement in Los Angeles. Torn between loyalty to where he was raised and allegiance to his brothers in blue, former Marine Daniel "Hondo" Harrelson has everything it takes to be an excellent leader and bridge the divide between his two worlds. Hondo's elite unit includes David "Deacon" Kay, an experienced S.W.A.T. officer who always puts the team first, despite feeling overlooked for the lead job; Jim Street, a cocky but promising new member of the group; Christina "Chris" Alonso, a skilled officer and the team's canine trainer; and Dominique Luca, an expert driver who gets them in and out of high-risk situations. Overseeing the unit is Jessica Cortez, the captain of L.A. Metro who values her job above all else, including her off-the-books relations with Hondo. Hondo's team enjoys an intense rivalry with another L.A.-based unit led by Mumford, an aggressive leader who likes to do things his way. With Hondo leading the charge, these dedicated men and women bravely put themselves at risk to protect their community and save lives. This series is based on the series S.W.A.T. which was created by Robert Hamner and developed by Rick Husky. It was developed by Aaron Rahsaan Thomas and Shawn Ryan.

They did Chris really dirty here, not only by letting her loose that fight but also by presenting her as one of the dumbest officers alive. During that first part she had more than one chance to grab her pistol and shoot that guy
Fun fact, in an active shooter situation first officers on scenes only priority is to end the threat. NOT TO SPLIT UP AND MULTI-TASK! This is a great example why
He was in a MALL with PEOPLE...they aren't gonna risk another persons death
@@not_moistyeah that’s why they go stop the shooter first
Did you not listen to a single word I said?@@Rogue_Centurion
It's not the best method for clearing an area with multiple blind spots. I'm not trained in this but she certainly didn't look like she was doing a great job on her own.
She literally missed the door he came out of at first. Like if you're gonna stand in front of it and look down, at least clear the room behind it first
dude got a rifle..decides to not shoot first and have fist fight with a SWAT officer instead.
The bad guy seemed to have the infinite Hollywood magazine.
I havent watched a single full episode, I prefer these clips, quite entertaining really.😊
1:07 Let me get this strait. He had a firearm, advantage from angle, and he rush instead of shooting or ordering to drop all her guns. Great idea.
dont forget his little Pre-grunt
he doesn't want to really kill her
Lmao please don't tell me that's supposed to be realistic.
since when have shows like this been realistic?
Many things actually are realistic. Got a problem with it? Don't watch it then.
Her face took some damage and the blood was a good touch. No way someone could get hit like that and not have cuts.
A high powered rifle whose rounds did NOT go thru the office pillar….
I mean if its concrete beneath the plaster its not going through.
Would've been more effective if he shot her as soon as she went thru the door towards the stairs instead of trying to knock her out with the rifle butt.
that's not "hi-powered" please don't pay attention to what the media teaches you. The AR-15 rifle shoots an intermediate cartridge. "Hi-Powered" is an overstatement lol Hi powered would be something like a FN FAL or a G3 that shoot a 150-170 grain 7.62 bullet vs the AR-15 .22 caliber 5.56 55-62 grain bullet.
Nice work Chris Alonso and Jeff Mumford!
@ShemarFranklinmoore-dg8qg wassup Shemar Moore
the good old MPi 5 with a roller lock like the G3 - a reliable, good weapon - if the strap had been across the upper body then the weapon would never have been knocked out of your hand, it just sits tight
A German consultant is probably necessary for the film series who knows something about hand-to-hand combat and police tactics
Well, A US Police trainer as US and German LEO tactics would be different. But not a bad idea.
Agreed that the MP5 is one of the best, most reliable SMGs ever.
i get what you're saying about having a consultant, but having a German consultant for a Los Angeles based show? that's not really the best idea😄
Who puts a giant sign of their name on their cubicle?
Joy did😊
Hello how are you doing baby girl I really appreciate you for supporting my carrier
This is why Hollywood depictions of " action " scenarios suck. She had at least two opportunities to either take the suspect at gunpoint or shoot him, either of which would have ended the threat. But no, not on television.
I want to know is where all these shooters get their machine guns in the shows. Like come on I can't get one for less than 20-30 thousand dollars.
probably just like in real life.....illegally obtained, or the shooter learned where to convert it to fully automatic.
1st off make it more realistic where the guy just kicks the crap outa her. And 2 why is there a work office in a mall?
Hello how are you doing baby girl I really appreciate you for supporting my carrier
The mall shooter shot up a mall earlier in the episode. He was tracking somebody down, and they were trying to catch him.
2 the mall have their administrative office😅 , and I don’t know about your place but here everything is inside the mall 😊 BPO company office ,banking office ,electric office ,small hospital/clinic not the mall clinic etc…😊
@@emmavu09 would you love to talk to me ?
Why are the camera angles so bad😅
Guy looks like sol goodman
1:14 so did the 109 pound 'free the nipple' lady cop have to do the chop-socky moves to show her mettle, instead of just move back 4 feet and draw her service weapon and shoot the perp ??
its a tv show, every episode would be 4 minutes long if that "logic" was applied.
@@Ren-hw4ne SWAT intervention aren't that fast IRL tho, if you want a TV show about an elite police unit that keep it real and shows their actual work while keeping it interesting (which isn't hard, that's a pretty cool job), there is one, SWAT is just more action oriented, and it works as a TV show too, to each their own
This scene is epic to see
They need to Mark those police cars a little better!
Whoever directed that episode is not familiar with the "Jack Webb" concept.
Why do all the criminals in these television shows have automatic rifles? They are extremely hard to find and expensive. It's not like there are 40 million of them around like an AR-15.
To keep it dramatic and intense lmao
BRO who the f#@k will run out of a building with a rifle in their hand I don’t get it what ????
Move to USA, they said. It will be great, they said.
Chris's fighting skills were fantastic but the shooter overpowered her 😐😐😐😐
yeah, usually when you're a 5'7 100 pound woman, a dude whos 6'0 can easily overpower you. Even if they aren't skilled.
actually no, she had the opportunity to shoot him many times during the first part of the fight but instead of that she continued the hand to hand fight for no reason..
the show got so bad with season 4 i root for the bad guys when i watch the clips now
só em filme e séries que se abandona o/a parceiro(a) quando em ocorrência
👎
Do people take this show seriously?
no one except for those who bitching and whining about "realistic" in tv shows
No but yea
i'm sure there are. the ones who are always bitching about how "realistic" or "unrealistic" certain aspects of the show are.
Probably not but it’s total cheesecake entertainment
you do clearly, stop whining
Who writes this crap
PSA if you complain about it not being realistic you need to grow tf up. It’s a freaking tv show and it’s not meant to be realistic
Not really, i would get what you mean if it was some fictionnal unit , but they literally name the show after the SWAT, expecting people to get that a show called SWAT isn't actually related to actual SWAT is a stretch, especially since the TV show isn't a comedy, it always take itself seriously, most of the time i don't mind but gotta admit, if characters do something really stupid, it brakes immertion for me, i enjoy action, but i'm not 14 , i need a bit more than punches and gun firing to be entertained personally
Chris is such a bad actress. She’s cringey to watch at times
