@@Elitegymnasticsfan26 SFGADV stands for Six Flags Great Adventure. Theme park enthusiasts use that acronym to differentiate it from Six Flags America (SFA), Six Flags Great America (SFGAM) or Six Flags Over Georgia (which I’ve seen abbreviated as both SFGA and SFOG).
Buy or sell: Lost Island is purchased by a smaller park chain if continued lack of attendance forces it to go out of business.
Buy or sell: Dollywood gets a coaster over the 200ft mark in the next 4 years. (Great vid BTW)
I rode outlaw a week ago . Front and back . I loved it . Not too rough at all . My fav ride in the park by a mile .
Yeah it’s not rough at all for a wooden coaster, and it’s well taken care of. SDC has zero reason to waste money on this
The MM 'giga' statement I believe is referring to gigawatts, as in the solar panels they are installing.

Damn, unfortunately u could be right about that. That’s the only “teaser” that would make sense if it wasn’t really a giga coaster. The only piece that doesn’t make sense about that theory is that they already announced that project a couple of months ago. I think it’s even advertised on the park’s webpage so it doesn’t make sense that they’d “announce” it again months later. And making the reference to Goliath just adds more fuel to the fire.
There’s always been people spreading rumors that Magic Mountain was gonna get a giga and as cool as I know that’d be, I always took it with a grain of salt because those rumors always seemed to stem from “fansboys” lol. But this was the park teasing this, not the fans, and announcing something like that just seems too random for it to be nothing. Some people have been mentioning a chairswing/skyscreamer but if it that was true, I feel like they’d go for the 400’ft height classification tbh. It is SF afterall so I guess they could still market a 300’ft as the tallest chair-swing on the westcoast lol. But still never heard of a chairswing being referred to with the giga height classification.
Ik Six Flags doesn’t have the biggest budget for new rides and hasn’t really splurged on a coaster since Tatsu but I actually think this might be it. It would probably be a $35M+ project, but with Cedar Point modifying Dragetser, Universal getting Fast and the Furious, rumours of Busch Garden and Knotts getting massive additions next year and Energylandia approaching the 20 coaster count, it just makes sense that Magic Mountain is gonna retaliate. I guess we’ll see, but I think Six Flags might shock people for once.
Maybe they’ll even finish that restroom in the DC area as well! That’d be just as shocking, if not MORE!🚽😂

Anyway since Canada’s wonderland is currently doing its coaster feedback… thing. Here’s my Buy or sell:
Out of the 3 proposed coasters for Canada’s wonderland. Option 3, the GCI will be the coaster built since it’s the smallest, wouldn’t require a coaster casualty, and a partnership with GCI would allow them to extend the life of the parks other woodies

Buy or Sell: Universal will dominate attendance in Florida with Epic Universe and will venture into making more parks in various states.
It does look like they are taking some steps in that direction. They did announce back on January 11, 2023 that they planning on building a new theme park geared towards families with kids in Texas as well as a permanent horror experience in Las Vegas. No word yet on when either is supposed to open though.
Buy or sell, BGT will announce their biggest or most unique project after the rapid closure of the wild mouse making more room for a coaster.
An ride operator at BGT told me that the giga is confirmed and will possibly be taller than fury 325 for marketing reasons and will most likely placed in the back of the park to route more traffic away from the front.

I don't think six flags are getting a giga coaster but I do think even as the cheap brand six flags magic moutain will be getting a new coaster pretty soon. With Universal announcing the Intamin launch on VelociCoaster lines for Fast and the Furious and Knotts Berry farm having lots of talk of investment in big new coasters I feel a response is coming. Given current management I would guess a B&M dive coaster is more likely though. Tallest dive coaster on the west coast is a pretty easy thing to claim when you only need to get a smaller model to 154 feet to top Emperor.
Buy or Sell: Hersheypark’s next coaster will be a family multi-launch coaster along the lines of Big Bear Mountain.

Idk the fact that they mention Goliath specifically and not Lex Luther or Superman in that tweet sure does sound like we could see a full circuit giga come to the park and if so that would be insane!

I'm fairly convinced it is an acronym for something or other. If it's actually a giga coaster I'll eat my shoe. And I expect their teasing will backfire once it's revealed what "GIGA" actually means.

Outlaw Run currently has little to no maintenance issues and is way smoother than 75% of wooden coasters out there. That’d be an insane investment for the park anytime soon.

i don’t understand people who complain that outlaw run is rough, i’ve ridden it in every part of the train and for a wooden roller coaster i found it to be really smooth?
@@AirtimeThrills I dunno man, I haven’t found many if anyone outside of you that finds it rough (respecting your opinion of course). But to me there are tons of coasters that are rough that I don’t ever want to ride and this one is nowhere near those. To each their own I suppose, but i do think the park and most riders don’t find it rough or to have any issues so I just don’t see it being modified.

I don't think Outlaw Run is very rough at all. Missouri does have the roughest coaster in the country, The Boss.
Buy or sell: All 3 of the coaster concepts from the Canada’s Wonderland survey will happen, it’s just that one of them goes to Canada’s wonderland and the others get reworked for another park.
Buy or Sell: Cedar Fair will convert or build a new coaster that is a majority GCI Titan track within the next 5 years.
Buy or Sell: Cedar Fair will eventually put some good beneficial investments into their bottom 4 parks (Not only rides and coasters) throughout the next 10-15 years

Buy or sell: Within 2 years of the opening of Project Gravy Boat (the family boomerang), Holiday World will open another Vekoma, particularly a STC.
Buy or Sell: Kings Island will get a RMC SOB within the next five years because RMC keeps teasing a new coaster and keeps capitalizing the O and the O means vertical loop so Son of Beast RMC

Buy or sell: Six Flags Over Texas gives shockwave the axe in the next 5 years due to the constant flooding problems from the creek beneath it.
The observation tower at Magic Mountain is 385’ tall, which makes it a ‘GIGA’ (notice they didn’t use the word ‘coaster’).
I’m really hoping magic mountain gets a giga soon. It would really help bolster the lineup more

I think that might happen, just to make an front entrance type coaster. Almost everyone hates the outdated front entrance.

Yes, I think people are forgetting about Gravity Groups retract. It has done wonders for Grizzly at Kings Dominion.
Cedar Fair seems to prefer GG. Supposedly Wolverine Wildcat got GG track this year after getting Titan last year.

Kind of frustrating magic mountains more likely to get a giga than fix any of the multitude of problems the park has.
It's such a ridiculous park. They build coaster after coaster, which just sucks up more cash and forces them to limit operations on existing rides. And yet the park can't even pull in the same attendance as parks that are open fewer days and aren't in a nearly as populated of an area. I don't wish to trash the park but something has to give there.

I honestly would be surprised if Magic Mountain is doing this tease and is not getting a real giga. Six Flags is cheap but I think this would piss to many people off if they tease this and then don't deliver. It probably wont be until 2025 though.

Buy or Sell: in 2025 both KD and BGW get a rollercoaster for their 50th anniversary. I know it is probably likely, but with the way each park has been the last few years, it’ll be interesting to see how they handle them.
Prediction:
KD: B&M wing or Hyper in Volcano plot of land, part of phase 2 expansion of that area.
BGW: Intanim Giga, either the revived shuttle concept or a full circuit akin to Red Force OR an RMC in the field behind Verbolten show building.
Buy or Sell: Project Exodus has a spinning car in the middle of the train.
Everyone knows the back row is for accessibility. And they obviously wouldn't put it in the front because people choose the front row for the views.
Putting one in the middle car would help revitalise that part of the train, as opposed to everyone seeking out the front or back.
Buy or sell: since the clone of s&s freespins in the six flags chain like batman the ride, the s&s freespin model will slowly die out and get no more sales like batman clones

Maybe GlGA stands for Green Lantern Great Adventure. Which is a large B&M Standup. Maybe this means they will perform some sort of major renovation of Riddler's Revenge.
I rode Outlaw Run for the first time a few weeks ago and was really disappointed. Thought maybe the first ride was rough because the guy stapled me but nope, it killed me even when not stapled.
Buy or Sell: Six Flags sells its lease to La Ronde in the next 10 years, possibly bundled with Great Escape.

I'm not sure where it'd fit, but Blackpool getting a Raptor makes sense. Could one fit in Wild Mouse's old plot? If so, I'd say put it there.

I went to Knott's recently and while talking to a ride operator on the observation tower they told me these clues towards a new ride:
[ ] "Bird is the word" location (unless it was referring to ride experience?)
[ ] taller than the Knotts S&S launchtower (SkyScream(er)?) Unless he was referring to Xcelerator.
[ ] New coaster (or other ride? I'm pretty sure he said coaster) next year(/announced next year?)
Now I thought it was heavily implied or outright said that this was for Knotts, however, there is a small chance he was referring to Cedar point which would make more sense considering the TTD reimagining. From what I can tell though he seemed very dead set that it was this park/here (knotts) at that time. Now, the operator could be messing with me and maybe the info is false, but it definitely seemed to come from somewhere truthful. Considering it hasn't been announced yet, I doubt the park has 100% committed to the project and they could change their minds or comply with regulations. But I'd keep an eye out at Knotts.
My best guess is that it's not Montezuma's revenge at all and that it is xcelerator that is getting taken out or reworked in some capacity. However it could be neither and as simple as one of those sky swings.
So possibly keep a heads up guys????

Buy or Sell: Magic Mountain's next Giga coaster will be over Samurai Summit, possibly going over parts of Revolution, Roaring Rapids, Ninja or Tatsu.

This implies Pipeline is a success, and as someone that lives just down the street from SWO I can tell you "waste of space" and "waste of money" are more accurate ways to describe it.
Buy or Sell: I think with Silverwood's announcement on expanding its water park, we will see see another coaster be added in 2024? I think it will be a Rmc woodie with Tremors finally transforming into one of most unique rmcs ever made.
Wonderland is likely going to do to Wild Beast what Cedar Fair did with Grizzly as Kings Dominion, the Gravity Group prefab track & reprofile, raise the height of the lift hill. Markings have been spotted earlier this year just like with Grizzly last year. The park is also likely getting a coaster 2025/26, a lot of markings around international place. They sent out to concept surveys this week. Would expect when they get a new coaster International Place is revamped/rethemed, that's Cedar Fair's thing lately with coasters at the big parks.
Buy or sell: Knoebels next major investment is a coaster for it's 100th anniversary in 2026. I'm thinking custom RMC on the hillside the ski lift goes up or a nice raptor.
Buy or sell, b&m will start selling new, more comfortable trains for old floorless coasters
Buy or Sell. Great American Scream Machine SFOG will be reimagined/tracked by RMC or GCI in the next 10 years
Buy or sell: a new RMC topper track launched coaster will be built in the next 20 years
Buy or Sell: the Fury 325 crack causes a small amount of safety concerns for B&M

10:22 unfortunately, John JR confirmed that he wasn’t a fan of the raptors and that it was unlikely he was going to buy one for any of his parks.

By or sell- worlds of fun gives Timberwolf either infinity or millennium flyer trains and re tracks they entire layout
Buy or Sell: SFGAd will hire Zamperla to reimagine Kingda Ka in the next 10 years
Buy or sell: Sfgam will get some sort of coaster near the yanke harbor/ hometown square where demon is and the little boat ship ride (ps: I work at six flags and demon is not working for some reason but this is the second time in 2 years demon was down for a very long period of time.)
Buy or Sell Holiday world will get a new thrill coaster before 2030
Buy or sell: Michigan's Adventure gets a new ground up coaster in 2031 for its 75th anniversary. Possibly something with Zamperla if PHP2024 turns out well. Maybe a spinning wild mouse to replace Mad Mouse, which, as an Arrow, may be getting difficult to maintain.
S&S supplies all the parts for Arrows and helps maintain them. The whole "service life" thing we've seen used as an excuse to dump them in recent years is more that the parks don't want to continue paying to maintain old rides that no longer draw crowds and are generally seen as rough and unwanted by the GP.
buy or sell: Michigan's Adventure gets a new Zamperla double heart coaster and depending on how it goes, the park will start seeing more investment through the future
Buy or sell: Kings Dominion's Volcano replacement will be launched.

I have to reluctantly agree with you about WoF, the Zambezi might not be enough to stir up a major ROI that would make CF go all in on investments in the park just yet. But it seems CF really likes CGI, they're even toying with buying one for Canada's Wonderland. So I bet they have GCI titan track the Timber Wolf, because I really do think the next ground-up coaster coming to WoF is a replacement for the other local fan favorite, The Orient Express. (doubtful it will be here before the world cup though, 2028 maybe)

Buy or Sell: Cedar Point will start working with Intamin in the next 5 years.

Buy or sell: Cedar Point was already thinking about Top Thrill 2 when they decided to remove Wicked Twister, due to the similar ride experience.
Buy or Sell Six Flags Fiesta Texas removes pandemonium and puts a new family area in its place
Buy or sell: cedar fair will announce some sort of virtual queue for the top thrill dragster relaunch.
Within the next 5 years, Waldameer announces a major expansion with a new thrill coaster.
They did recently get some new land so I would not be surprised if they did a decent sized expansion some time soon.
Buy or sell after epic universe opens Universal opens a new park near to Universal Studios Hollywood.
