Welcome and thank you for joining us. Today we are in the 8th week of our fall series - Ancient Paths - where we will be exploring the practices of faith that shaped the holy people of the past and how God invites each of us to incorporate them into our lives as the pathway to rest. Through applying spiritual disciplines such as: Sabbath-keeping, Prayer, Fasting, Solitude, Community, Generosity, Scripture Reading, Service, and Witness - we train our wayward souls to do the will of God. God promises us His life but if we want to experience it, we must adopt the lifestyle of Jesus! Pastor Jody will continue the series with his sermon "Scripture". The word of God comes to us from Psalm 1:1-6.
