Sorry for the poor audio of the in-car shots. I’ll def have that fixed next time. Be sure to subscribe and click the notification bell to know next time we go LIVE from the in-car at a race!
Hey man! Cool to see some videos from you. I haven’t had much time to sit and watch through them yet, but I like seeing more of us 602 late model guys on here putting out content!
The motors and transmissions are the same. It can really just depend on the chassis you buy. A new one is obviously gonna be pretty expensive. I would recommend a car that’s around 3-4 years old in good shape with everything except motor. Our modified was a 2021 and it was only a couple races old when we bought it for $17k with no motor or seat. Our newest late model is a 2021 that had a few races on it and I think we paid about $27k with no motor or seat or shocks if I’m not mistaken. I def don’t think you need a brand new or same year model car to be fast you can def be fast with a chassis that’s a little older.

Thanks!
What’s the cost difference between a 602 late model and 602 modified and how much do they cost in general? I’m 21 and want to get into racing
