This is so well written and directed. Shame we will probably never have this type of story adapted into a game . The Sanghelli have such interesting stories that could’ve or even CAN be told through games or shows or something man.
What Halo 4 onwards should have been.
Funny, few days ago i was remembering that Elites had backpacks and if Elite customization came back it would be nice to see them with some Covenant survival equipment, similar to Humans.
That's when this story crossed my mind, wanting to see it again.
Its curious and mysterious how that mental algorithm that TH-cam planted on us works.

Yo this is so fucking cool I don’t know why im so obsessed with the elite race in halo their just intelligent creatures who are misguided theyre strong and fast very similar to humans but they have their own culture. So unique so beautiful I wish I should hug an elite.

I don’t think appropriate to can call the banished a “red covenant” when almost everything about then is fundamentally opposed to what the covenant stud for. (From there art design to their ideology and beliefs) Also I find it funny how people like you criticize 343 for for creating something new with the created/AI\prometheans for being “not as fun as fighting the covenant” saying things like “not looking like halo” and a bunch of other things but also hypocritically want to criticize the banished for being a “red covenant skin” despite having a very clear art direction that compliments halo’s aesthetic design and having that same “fun” gameplay what made fighting the covenant so interesting in the original games in the first place. It’s like you people just want to criticize 343 for doing what you people asked for while forgetting that you’re the ones asked for it because you hated the changes in 4&5 but still complain about things that you wanted to change like they didn’t already do that in 4&5 and failed miserably. Just be consistent. 😮💨
@benclark4823 I was thinking he meant The Arbiters allies lol I felt like it was dumb to make them look the same but red armor. It makes it seem like that's their general style when I always looked at that armor type to be the storm or group from Halo 4

What if 343 pulled a valve and instead of releasing halo 3 they simply made different games with in universe stories? Fan service some might call it, worldbuilding for others but that was a big part of halo 2, yet everything introduced would be building up to halo 3 and when that time came, we would be ready to finish the fight.
but alas, it's all up to the modders now.
