God bless you pastor. We all fall short of the glory of God. I know you are a great man. What breaks us, makes us. Amen, how can we reach all if we haven't experienced all.
In many church traditions, people replying in affirmation is evidence of how the sermon is impacting them. And also encouraging the preacher to press on in speaking Truth! 🙂
Kind of like your comment? It’s weird because I’m only 6 minutes in as he has quoted multiple verses in reference to his teaching. I wonder if the pharisees made similar comments when Jesus was talking in parables instead of reading from the Torah
Matt, have you repented yet of the unbiblical, sinful embracing you have repeatedly displayed regarding Critical Race Theory, the social justice movement, the domestic terrorist organization Black Lives Matter, and your animosity toward police officers?
You should write to the elders of their church. They will hold him accountable to any sins he is actively committing. Posting on youtube will not accomplish your goal, unless it is just to belittle someone and posture yourself as a moral, righteous person. Matt Chandler and the Village continuously preach the Gospel and how Jesus saves. That should be celebrated. It is unfair and unloving not to address someone else's sin properly and respectfully, especially without full context. So reach out to the elders if there is validity to your claim, and trust that the Lord facilitate repentance and let Him handle justice.
@@BryanBetz Oh I’ll be the first to say I am a scumbag saved by grace. Holding accountable in the same manner akin to their staged incident last year? Anyone who espouses the social justice movement needs to be called out, as well as call to repentance, be it him, Tim Keller, Phil Vischer, Any Stanley, Thabiti Anyabwile, David Platt, the Gospel Coalition, etc. Are you able to negate (specifically) any of these issues regarding Chandler which I shared? If not, I’ll share some with you.
Thank you Bryan Betz. I'm so thankful that you said this. I see these posts from random people all the time when I watch Chandler sermons, which is very frequently. Chandler preached a sermon called "Of First Importance" in 2006 and when I first heard it, my whole world changed. I had ears to hear the Gospel rightly, and the Holy Spirit used Matt's fearless preaching to convict me, while simultaneously showing me the power of the cross. And while I totally get and support the idea of calling out false teachers - Paul even confronted Peter to his face - Matt is not a false teacher. Imperfect person? Yes! False teacher? Absolutely not. Thank you for finding time and words to articulate what you did. Let's pray for the trolls, that the Spirit will convict them too. The Elders at TVC have proven that they are willing to practice church discipline, and your encouragement to contact them with their complaints instead of trolling on TH-cam comments was spot on.
I needed this Matt. Thank the Lord and thank you. ❤
I watch Matt Chandler every morning. God is really working through Matt and God is AMAZING
Wonderful sermon! Thank you and your family for diligently and faithfully serving the Lord for so many years!

@@jessicakendal7051 thank you. It make sense now.
There's a lot of talking, theorizing and explaining going on, but not much in the way of Bible teaching.
