I stopped this video right in the middle because I felt so compelled to tell you this. First things first you are beautiful and so deserving of anything and everything! Also.. I just got married in October 2022 and something that truly helped me was, I first told myself that it was 100% okay to have a vision and to want what I want! I am a people pleaser and I made the decision in the beginning of planning that I would listen to input and except help but that I wanted what I wanted and that this day out of all the days should be a day it is okay to say no and to want what you want. I took tons of deep breaths and always kept reminding myself that truly enjoying the moments even the ones when things didn’t work out exactly how I thought they would and remembering what the day was truly about was the most important thing.
And something to know.. it will work out and be completely perfect because you are marrying the love of your life and everyone that loves you and is supposed to be there will be! Good luck and you will be a beautiful bride! 💕

My mantra these last few weeks has been “what is meant for me will not miss me” !!!!!

I love that you're claiming what you want and what you deserve! However you've gotta remember that if people or plans don't go in the perfect way you're envisioning that it is not a reflection of you and your worth. You may do everything exactly as you want and the expectation is so high you may be disappointed. Put effort in and do what YOU want but remember that you can't control how people act or behave. Make sure that you have an amazing time anf provide people the space to do the same. Thats all you can do! That's something I struggled with ❤
The biggest thing I learned in wedding planning is trust your gut instinct. If things aren't working or you're trying too hard to make it fit, let it go and pick something else. A vendor being a butt or not getting back to you? "We are no longer needing your services." Thank you, next. Lol. Someone else will vibe with you more and your money will be safer with that vibe 😊

When I got married 9 years ago I kept telling myself and everyone else that I do not care about any of this because weddings and getting married was never my dream. But I think the truth is that I felt shame and also not worthy to have the attention and a frickin wedding where I get celebrated. I did not get the dress I wanted and I did not put myself first or even in the top 10 when it was happening. You deserve love, beauty and a frickin wedding that fills all the cups!

So much fun! I got married 23 years ago in Santa Barbara. Ours was very low key laid back. We got married at Ehlings Park. No regrets! We had people for years tell us that ours was their favorite wedding they’d been to. Also if you need a florist and get married in Ojai or SB, my bestie is a long time wedding floral designer and may be able to help you out!

We got married in napa at the Beringery winery and it was magical. Just me and my husband. We used a company called “Run away with me” and they were amazing and affordable. They took care of everything so you don’t have to. Just an idea! They are based out of that area.
Relax! Breath! You've been to other weddings. Take the best ideas and run with it. Take a notebook with you and jot down ideas. DONT OVERTHINK STUFF!Enjoy the process!
