Building a 323i aswell first event in October, your videos are more then helping, just spotted an oil catch can fitted any videos on that. And reason for fitting thanks
No I did that years ago. I just wanted to simplify the original pcv system and also keep tabs on how much blowby the engine has. Basically run an oil safe hose from the valve cover to the catch can. And block the return which is at the base of the dipstick. 👍🏻
Not actually sure but the needle never really moves. But I would say it will run a bit hotter and I can just dial in the alarm so it’s not going off if it just creeps a few degrees over.
@@JORDO41it actually has an auto function, where it learns your usual operating temp, and will alarm if it goes over the usual range. But I’m not sure on the manual setting till I get to the track and do some skids. Probably 85-95 degrees I’d say.
Could you show a video of how you set up your wires? I NEEEED to get ideas for wire management
Thanks for the video.

What temps do you usually reach on track and just in general?

@@BertusBuilds What temp do you reckon you'd program the alarm to?
