Krayzie Bone really doesnt get his flowers for having THE sharpest flow and most versatile voice in hip hop. Listen to Bill Collector, Shoot em up, etc. etc. hes like an anime swordsman. He can blend in and adapt to any track with ANYONE to a degree thats almost scary, from Lil Jon to duets with Mariah Carey.
Agreed. Apparently he’s the one that really structured most their songs and came up with the hooks. But I’d say all of them don’t get the flowers they deserve. These dudes absolutely perfected rap/hip hop. Nobody ever did it better before or since in my opinion. When I was a kid, Layzie was my favorite. He was the first one heard on Thuggish Ruggish Bone, and other songs, so I just thought he was the leader. Plus I always thought his voice just sounded the most normal. As I got older a bit, Bizzy became my favorite. Dude was intense and had incredible energy. Ripped every verse he did. Now that I’ve learned more about them, Krayzie is definitely the best of the bunch. I don’t wanna spill too much tea, but I personally knew someone once signed to Mo Thug Records (who was also in the Crossroads video) and one of their sons. Even though I had given up on my music career years before that, I jumped at the chance to be part of that gig, just because I’m such a fan.
