Started poe this league (only 600hours right now), few days ago i had my firsts divines explosions (60 for the biggest) with basic t7 abyss strat, and i felt it like a "personal accomplishment" ... Now i'm watching your videos, and i realize how much noob and lost i still am haha.. Crafting/economy mastering is a huge mountain to climb in poe, and you're by far the best sherpa around :) !! Even if i still don't fully understand all the complex concepts you're demonstrating (plus english isn't my first language), i wanted to say a huge thanks for all your work and dedication, it reaaaaaaally helps a lot noobies like me, hope i'll be able to get my very first mirror before the end of the league :) ! have a great day Belton !
This league is the 1st time explosion drop currency from singleplayer since poe open for service. average dv/hr before affliction = 8-10 dv/hr But crafting item is the hardest part of game.99% of player don't do this like me welcome to POE
@@jakkapanman yeah i understood that affliction is a very special league for looting and currencies explosions (and i assume it wont be the same for the next league) . concerning crafting i don't understand anything except the very basics (essences fossils and veiled) , but with a bit of patience investment and dedication i hope i'll finally manage to craft some cool stuff too... :)

I've really been liking how positive you've been in all of your videos, if anybody bothers to watch your content they'll know you aren't just a "TFT drama" guy but actually someone who cares about the game a lot

Man, i did this stuff with Lorweaves. You can vendor 59 Rings with 1 ilvl 20 Ring and get ilvl 20 Loreweaves. But kinda interesting that one could do that with other bases aswell. I gotta check out Lightning Coil and Restless Ward with this strat.

Thank you for making these videos. Your advice about investing got me set up well at the beginning of the league. I had to take a few days off due to real life constraints, and still made more currency than I have in previous leagues
@BeltonPoE I'm a bit confused how/when you get the 6 Link step on your Greeds. I get upgrading an ilvl 2 -> 6 sockets, but are you using 1500 fuse recipe as last step before temple double corrupt? I didn't see this cost factored into your "The Math" slide and was wondering.
Only if you 3;1 them, in which case yes you should do that after , Jews are like 3000:1 tho and the omens are like 20c it’s not a super financially impactful part of the process - for myself I did it before because I often just divines them en masse instead of using chests 3:1 cuz I could afford to / was doing so on a large enough scale (bulk wise) that the variance or net EV afforded me that. Also the time opportunity cost to buy chests is going to differ from person to person - if you’re making 100d an hour it’s probably not worthwhile to spend 2 hours buying 600 greeds or w.e , but if you’re making 5d an hour it definitely would be . The content side of things too, since it was live streamed , had to be factored in. Spam buying 2c chests for extended periods of time isn’t the most engaging thing to watch
FYI @BeltonPOE most vendor recipes that combine items take on the lowest item level of the recipe ingredients placement in the sales window is not a factor, and a HUGE congrats on 20k!!
Also thought about it. 3 to 1 uses lowest itemlevel, right? Was Betlon using 3 item level 2 all this time when he could just buy 2 random high level Greeds?
great job with the videos man, Im not sure how good it will be but i have a video Idea for the 20k do giveaways but in a special way that is not against TOS you know how some items have budget versions. like inspired learning is HH at home :) we are 1 month into the league so if anybody is buying inspired RN it means he is probably new or had a very late league start (sadge life) so what i propose is to list a bunch of this budget version items and when somebody comes to buy them add the real item on top :) you probably need to do this offline though ;D GL with the channel
Dude, do as much of this as possible before they nerf it. I have a feeling they will try to nerf it now. We need as many of these bases in Standard as possible so people can mirror
while those crafts are certainly profitable, doing them solo is a chore. There is a reason why he pays people to chance/scoure them and why he pays people to bulk buy goldenplates and greeds.
Random idea for 20k. What about crafting a character with as many 20k references in it as possible. A 20k life, mana, es character would be cool. Though it's probably a bit too involved and outside the normal realm of crafting, so maybe not.
Do you think it would be worth it to take it one step further with perfect and gilded fossils? I'm not sure about the interaction rules double corruption has, is there any benefit to having extra implicit? Maybe not on this chest, but if there was another chest with implicit's already? At the very least the quality would help with slightly more res.
I'm playing boneshatter, and the noble axe might actually be better than the despot axe for the "complex trauma" transfigured version. Probably is actually.
Does this work for march of the legions too? I can't figure out how to get a lv 20-45 motl. I thought about buying The escape or the other card for boots. Turn it in with a lv 20 Character and then ancient orb. But can you even Ancient orb MoTl? If Not, how the heck do you get a low item level bricked base to then chance to back? im stumped.
for anyone wondering about this in 3.24: Prices of these Chests have dropped significantly ever since affliction. back then MF was the shit. By far the most overpowered MF has ever been and it was the undisputed meta currency strat that was really fucking profitable even in low investment. This is since not the case anymore. MF is back to norml if not worse because everyone of farming scarab strats nowadays. This combines with the huge deflation necropolis brought us means that these bodyarmour do not realistically sell for 1 Mirror anymore. The lowest i have seen is priced at 119 Divines though that has no quality, is not 6 linked and has a (almost) min roll on the increased damage implicit.The next greeds is priced at 140 divines. this one has 29 qual so still not perfect and also only a 43% increased damage roll (though i think that isnt the huge pricve changer). It is 6 linked but the huge drawback of this chest is the 36% quant roll on it. so this is still not market value if you follow this video to a T. There are a few more example in the 100-200 divine range but none of them are perfect. so if you want to do this: yes its still profitable and by a lot (even made better with the black morrigan guaranteing you the 6L) but if you want the most out of it go for 15/14 quant and atleast 45 rarity though you should aim for higher. spend the extra time divineing it, otherwise it may not sell.

Hey Belton i tried asking in global chat but ya. Are jewel rolls completely random? In the last few days I bought 3 exactly identical abyss jewels, not just same mods and tiers, same exact rolls. 36 life, 26 mana, 6% cast speed if crit, 4% added phys as fire if crit. There are 11 more of these identical jewels for sale on the softcore market right now. It seems wildly unlikely to get 4 mods all identical from found items. You're a craft god so thought maybe you know
After seeing this video I tried to do Jack in the box for one unique helmet to brick(tier 5 rarity), it has been over 4000 sets turned in, 9 helmets didn't brick to rare, what a pain it is. And what is the most annoying, there are no unique helmet cards in the game whatsoever.
Made my frist mageblood (2x mageblood basically). Just by crafting an armor stacking chest for myself, then not wanting to play the build and crafting another one. Crafting is so disgustingly strong. I would never get thta much currency/hour by playing the game.

Noob question, would be glad if anyone could help me: I have a Synth Ring with Vulnerability and Flammability on hit implicit. There is none in Affliction Softcore or standard. How much is a ring base like that worth?
The two curses are pretty much useless together unless you were a curse bot since vuln is for phys dmg taken by mob and vuln reduces fire res/ chance to ignite - the only builds that really use vuln tho are pure phys. You might be able to get a bit extra from the price of just having one of the two curses as a synth but not by much. I’d still just sell it as is though, as vulture prices at their current rate are too expensive relative to the value of the CoH implicits to merit rerolling it. Hope that helps!

personally, I hate how expensive things are but depending what it is, I'll just buy it as I'm too lazy to craft it myself. I only craft it myself if it's ludicrous.
I was gonna try make some quick currency before bed so i made 9 ilvl 2 goldwyrms to double corrupt and somehow didnt get a single corrupt implicit. I got 3 white sockets, 1 nothing, 2 brick and 3 poof. Rip 60div
Well it states in this video, it takes around 260 div on average investment to make one. It might as well depend, sometimes you will spend less or more then 260 div.
@@hungrosanah , hes right. You can’t. Tainted jewellers still are capped by the ilvl socket limit. In this case, they stop at 3 sockets as the chests are ilvl 2. While it probably goes without saying, I am acutely aware of different crafting currencies as I spend a significant amount of time using them. I wouldn’t use tainted scraps Chromes and fus and overlook jewellers mistakenly. Wouldn’t make sense. That being said, even if it were possible, it would still be cheaper in most cases to just spend 20c on the omen or buy a divine of jewellers and bench multiple bases at once. Cheers!
was for those wanting to save money/doing this on a smaller scale or lower budget--- I personally was jsut divining the chests 99% of the time since I was doing them in batches of 40+

Finding out if it’s still profitable, how long you should do it etc is something YOU do, not ask him to do after he already made an entire video revealing a strat you didn’t know anything about. You want him to watch the trade site and give you play by play of the item prices? It’s not fanboying, it’s just hard to look at laziness like this when there’s such an obvious answer.
nice video overall the only thing is that you didn't mention 6 socketing with tainted jeweller's .. i'm not saying it's a good strategy but i'm pretty sure it's much better than the 300 or 350 vaals.
Not being snarky here, but I did consider it, and I didn’t mention it because it does not work. Tainted jewellers do not bypass base socket maximums, so they would stop at 3 sockets. The omen and the bench can both bypass this.
bascially impossible to do this wuithout being a streamer. Good luck buying those div cards. 1 at a time....literally not viable without people buying you stuff, woul take you days to amass what you have 1 by 1 on your own... 1/25 for the greeds from the cards, you need 4 cards. Good luck getting them.
I said anecdotally it was about 1/250. I only did around 80-100 so that’s not definitive and could have been lucky , although 4x avg would be unlikely at that size, maybe upwards of 1/500 ish would be believable .
Sup Pedro- and yea, mythics/chance bypass ilvl reqs but ancients dont. I’m sure that gap in understanding has probably fucked many a belt spamming ancient users in times past

you can cut your spendings by half on the harvest enchant by putting the enchant on before you split the base

for anyone wondering about this in 3.24: Prices of these Chests have dropped significantly ever since affliction. back then MF was the shit. By far the most overpowered MF has ever been and it was the undisputed meta currency strat that was really fucking profitable even in low investment. This is since not the case anymore. MF is back to norml if not worse because everyone of farming scarab strats nowadays. This combines with the huge deflation necropolis brought us means that these bodyarmour do not realistically sell for 1 Mirror anymore. The lowest i have seen is priced at 119 Divines though that has no quality, is not 6 linked and has a (almost) min roll on the increased damage implicit.The next greeds is priced at 140 divines. this one has 29 qual so still not perfect and also only a 43% increased damage roll (though i think that isnt the huge pricve changer). It is 6 linked but the huge drawback of this chest is the 36% quant roll on it. so this is still not market value if you follow this video to a T. There are a few more example in the 100-200 divine range but none of them are perfect. so if you want to do this: yes its still profitable and by a lot (even made better with the black morrigan guaranteing you the 6L) but if you want the most out of it go for 15/14 quant and atleast 45 rarity though you should aim for higher. spend the extra time divineing it, otherwise it may not sell.

In the last few days I bought 3 exactly identical abyss jewels, not just same mods and tiers, same exact rolls. 36 life, 26 mana, 6% cast speed if crit, 4% added phys as fire if crit. There are 11 more of these identical jewels for sale on the softcore market right now. It seems wildly unlikely to get 4 mods all identical from found items. You're a craft god so thought maybe you know

After seeing this video I tried to do Jack in the box for one unique helmet to brick(tier 5 rarity), it has been over 4000 sets turned in, 9 helmets didn't brick to rare, what a pain it is. And what is the most annoying, there are no unique helmet cards in the game whatsoever.

Made my frist mageblood (2x mageblood basically). Just by crafting an armor stacking chest for myself, then not wanting to play the build and crafting another one. Crafting is so disgustingly strong. I would never get thta much currency/hour by playing the game.

Noob question, would be glad if anyone could help me: I have a Synth Ring with Vulnerability and Flammability on hit implicit. There is none in Affliction Softcore or standard. How much is a ring base like that worth?
The two curses are pretty much useless together unless you were a curse bot since vuln is for phys dmg taken by mob and vuln reduces fire res/ chance to ignite - the only builds that really use vuln tho are pure phys. You might be able to get a bit extra from the price of just having one of the two curses as a synth but not by much. I’d still just sell it as is though, as vulture prices at their current rate are too expensive relative to the value of the CoH implicits to merit rerolling it.

I was gonna try make some quick currency before bed so i made 9 ilvl 2 goldwyrms to double corrupt and somehow didnt get a single corrupt implicit. I got 3 white sockets, 1 nothing, 2 brick and 3 poof. Rip 60div
Well it states in this video, it takes around 260 div on average investment to make one. It might as well depend, sometimes you will spend less or more then 260 div.

You can do the fusing tech you mentioned with 4 link + tainted fusing for sockets too, just do 4 sockets and use tainted jewellers orb

@@hungrosanah , hes right. You can’t. Tainted jewellers still are capped by the ilvl socket limit. In this case, they stop at 3 sockets as the chests are ilvl 2. While it probably goes without saying, I am acutely aware of different crafting currencies as I spend a significant amount of time using them. I wouldn’t use tainted scraps Chromes and fus and overlook jewellers mistakenly. Wouldn’t make sense.
That being said, even if it were possible, it would still be cheaper in most cases to just spend 20c on the omen or buy a divine of jewellers and bench multiple bases at once. Cheers!

That's the problem with a market simulator, it behaves just like irl. Get rich quick schemes stop working, rapidly, and usually they turn into bait. Or the barrier to entry gets so tall the margins disappear. It always just boils down to gambling your wage or winning the lottery.

can't 6 socket using tainted jewellers because of ilvl, tainted fusings work ok though
Not being snarky here, but I did consider it, and I didn’t mention it because it does not work. Tainted jewellers do not bypass base socket maximums, so they would stop at 3 sockets. The omen and the bench can both bypass this.

I said anecdotally it was about 1/250. I only did around 80-100 so that’s not definitive and could have been lucky , although 4x avg would be unlikely at that size, maybe upwards of 1/500 ish would be believable .
