I remember vividly that MJ charged 500 - 2,500 Baht for his shows which was unprecedented back in 1993. Fast forward to 2016, MC charged 2,000 - 16,000 Baht but in a much smaller venue - Impact Arena. You've gotta love inflation. MC is short for Madonna Cicone.
@VintageThaiLadyBoy My wife saw MJ in Bangkok, Prince in the US in 2011 and Madonna in Vegas in 2012. Hard to beat those three. We saw David Copperfield at the Impact Arena.
@@majorkade That's cool. Madge is the only act I've ever gotten to see and it was here in BKK. My "girl" friends and I went for 5,000-Baht tickets but thanks to our good karma got bumped to the 12K section.
