Rochas have leadership quality, his knowledge of the nigeria economics is valuable. I hope Buhari adviser is taking note of this knowledge.
I know some quarters are busy castigating him, but they must understand he made valuable contribution to development of Imo state since Sam . I don't think he is claiming to be angel but want you critic to look at otherside of the coin.

How do you expect little Okorocha, a senator for 4 short months to have the powers to cut the remuneration of senators? He cannot. Even the president does NOT have constitutional powers to do so. All he can do is raise a motion for it like he has done but others will simply dismiss it.

Okorocha is the Senator representing my senatorial zone but he is a big time liar and Criminal. He himself said when he was still a governor that it seems that the rain falling in IMO state was ACIDIC bcs of the poor state of the roads that was washed out after the first rain. The hospitals he is talking about none is functioning. Just roofed as he said and was aboundoned by him and his cohorts. The free education he said about, the students were paying through one way or the other especially the higher institutions. The bridges he claimed he build was constructed without iron Rod and it all collapsed. He is just looking for another opportunity to embezzle at the federal level. OkoroAwusa, Alhaji in Government house b4 but now in the Senate is a big time failure and a 419ner.

@@ultimateone If you are talking about the hospitals, one is in my village and till today is just roofed as he said. Pls go and do investigative journalism as Rochas accused the interviewer that journalist don't do. The problem with Nigerian journalists is that, they are afraid of politicians. The interviewer himself knows that Rochas is not saying the truth but he allowed him to get away with it and he will be proud he has fooled the interviewer and Nigerians who are listening to him not knowing he fooled himself. Remember Rochas bet him to go and climb the bridge with one hundred trucks loaded with 45 tons of Iron that if any thing happens to the bridge he will resign as a Senator and he knows very well and quiet sure Okorocha was telling him lies from the pit of hell but he was just looking at him

This journalist conducted one of the best interviews I've seen from any NGR journalist. His station ought to be very proud of him. At least I know I’m not the only one thinking this thing about our education. We need to structure in such a way that it directly services & stimulate our economy. Like he said, vocational-structured education should be more paramount, and if we have research-focused education their research must directly related to the type of industries and/or problems we are facing. There cannot be copy and paste and get a certificate. We need a situation where someone coming out of school already has a lot to offer

An interesting interview with the senator - the immediate past executive governor of Imo State Rochas Okorocha. Channels TV should take him on his challenge of a more detailed investigation to ascertain his claims. Remember, that he has offered to resign as a distinguished senator if any of his claim/s is/are unfounded. I will like to get the following cleared:
    1. Did he create enabling environment for direct investments for the private sector to create jobs?
    2. Where are the 8 lane roads he created in Imo State?
    3. What were the conditions of the public schools when he was in the office?

Can you see how the idiocy in this man played out when asked about the stupendous salaries and pension the national assembly members take...
So this man is not aware that governors are not the only ones that have dependents.
Politicians like this man okorocha are the real spongers.
Ask him why he did not set up those technical and skills acquisition centres for 8 years in Imo state...and he can come here and boast that he set up 6 useless universities in this obnoxious narrative of his.
I wonder how his children who schooled overseas see him as a father.

Diversify the economy: Where is the Manufacturing sector?. This fossil fuel called Oil will be obsolete in no distance future. A nation with out vision its people perish. Education with out job after one finishes is a waist.

Talk is cheap. He talks about private boreholes but I bet you he did nothing in Imo to solve that problem. Typical Nigerian politician.

I am from Enugu but after listening to what Rochas has said without any reasonable facts to debunk his claim, then I keep wondering the extent of what blackmailers could do. Please before you attack my view, please depict just one falsehood that he had portrayed here.

Sweet tongue, this was how he deceived IMOLITES into adopting and ultimately voting him as Governor of a great state like IMO STATE. OKOROCHA, do you truly believe in cutting the cost of running Government, at what cost to the economy of IMO STATE did you erect those monuments that liters the landscape of your state.

Is Rochas Okorocha speaking from his mistakes when he was a governor. How he lavished our money with his intimidating entourage he made hundred times a day or projectes like roads that did not last one rainy season. What he is saying does not make sense. If he is advocating the cut down of senators salaries and allowances from thirty million naira a month to at most five million naira a month, then that will make sense. They are one and the same people. He wants to be heard.
