The man was wrong and his attack was barbaric. He abused his power and assaulted a fellow citizen. He should be duly punished. We expect the highest standards of conduct and behaviour from our politicians and public officers. However this shambles of a hearing was ill-advised. They should have made enquiries quietly and subject to those enquiries issue a temporary suspension/leave pending the outcome of the prosecution. If he is convicted then you have a hearing...if not then the matter is a non-issue!!! Nigeria is a country where people just do thing ANYHOW...in ANYWAY!!!!
