Thank you, they are so sweet together ❤️ They seem to be especially close and cuddly with one another on travel days for some reason. Thanks for watching and commenting!! 😊
My wife and I have visited soo many of the places for which you made videos. You folks like to do things that we enjoy. We are planning on snowbirding this next fall. We usually stayed in RV parks with full hook-ups for a month at a time. We used our 2000 Toyota Rav4 to visit all the opportunities that each area accords. One of the places we like really well was down in Why, AZ where we could hike for miles in the desert. From there we drove down to Organ Pipe National Park and took the long road up around the east part of the park, and then on another occasion, we did the road that went around the western part of the park. Much to see. One ends up driving along the fence between the US and Mexico. I personally love to visit the Big Bend park down in Texas. Many interesting little things to see and do. I appreciate your visit to Custer National Monument and the manner in which you treated the visit in a balanced tone. As kids we grew up in Montana, hence we are well acquainted with the problem created for the Native Americans by the European newcomers. I have 3 books about the participants in this battle.
You are right, it sounds like we like to do many of the same things! Great minds 😉We did our absolute best to treat the Little Bighorn Battlefield neutrally as we know it's a sensitive subject, as is evident in the comments for that video. It appears you're much more educated than us about that subject, we didn't know much going in but enjoyed learning about it from the National Monument. We hope you enjoy being snow birds this Fall and maybe we'll see you on the road! Stay safe!!
Watching another one of your videos we were very disappointed in Durango we were there the second week of May 2018. Once again I was surprised by the crowds didn't feel like I was in a small western town but a small New York City. However that is some of the prettiest country I have ever drove through we came down from Breckenridge to Durango and then on down to Santa Fe New Mexico. I only hope the fire didn't destroy too much. Thanks again for going to the trouble to make these videos . I know it's not easy well I've never made one I don't know about that but it looks hard.
Durango was definitely bigger than we expected it to be for southwest Colorado. We agree with you that that area is some of the prettiest country we've seen. We drove a loop from Durango > Silverton > Ouray > Telluride > Cortez back to Durango (it's our Million Dollar Highway video) and were just blown away by the beauty. The fires started shortly after we left, we were very fortunate to get to see it before we couldn't. You're very welcome for the videos! You are right, they are a lot of work but we enjoy making them and are glad they're being enjoyed, so THANK YOU!
Hey Bri & TJ! Really enjoyed this video. You guys are doing a great job, very professional! I'm learning lots about places I've never seen. I always look forward to seeing your next "show".
Durango was a great town, big enough without being too big, plenty to do whether you like good food and bars, shopping or outdoors (we like all of the above!). I'm glad you liked the bloopers, if you haven't seen our Big Bend part 2 video there's another pretty funny one at the end of that one. Thanks for the 👍
Hi Guys. Great video., very informative. Watching them makes us want to get back on the road again. Really enjoyed the out-takes at the end. You should find a way to add that to more video.
Hi. I just found your channel. I like your pace and your pets :-) I think I saw you once in Trinidad Colorado... I don't know how many other people pull their Airstream with a van and have two dogs... but maybe it wasn't. Enjoy your journey.
We're so glad you found us! Our pets steal the show, we're just a side act lol. In early May we went from Pagosa Springs to BV via 160 to 285, so we were close to Trinidad but not quite in it. We do have a pretty unique rig but believe it or not we do know of at least one other couple that pull their Airstream with a white van. Who knows if it was us you saw?! Thank you so much for watching and commenting, we really appreciate it! 😁
@@EmbracingDetours your welcome and yes it was I live back up in the front range area of Colorado. Love your videos and born and raised in boulder two great places
I've been watching your channel for many months now and have always wondered how long it took for your cat to get comfortable traveling? Dogs always seem to enjoy traveling.
It was a few months before the cats stopped howling every time we put them in the van. I think we may have an advantage with our cats being older and less energetic, they eventually realized that this was our new life and just took a nap lol
Really enjoy your videos. Was wondering though if you guys had any kids? Me and my wife would love to do the r.v. thing eventually, but kids make it almost impossible. Stay safe.
We do not have children (other than the furry kind). While we agree that kids add a level of difficulty, plenty of people do it with kids. A few of the larger YT channels that full-time with their kid(s) are Less Junk More Journey and Keep your Daydream. You should check them out if you haven't found them already... just don't quit watching us too! lol 😉
We have camped all of our lives. First as kids then as adults with our parents then with our own kids and now with our grandchildren. You don’t know what you are missing!
Rodeos are animal abusing events. Do research on rodeo abuse of animals and factory farming. You guys strike me as not into animal abuse as a form of entertainment. Do some TH-cam research. Enjoy your videos.
We weren't attending a rodeo, we were just camped at the county fairgrounds where they happened to be having an event (not a rodeo). We are against any and all forms of animal abuse, we are animal lovers! Glad you are enjoying our videos, thank you for watching 👍😊
At 2:00, what a fantastic shot of your lineup of fur-babies, all happily snoozing next to one another. Priceless!
Thank you, they are so sweet together ❤️ They seem to be especially close and cuddly with one another on travel days for some reason. Thanks for watching and commenting!! 😊
bloopers were the best part. real, liked it
