It’s just a great video with a happy ending. Thanks for splitting it up, as it is difficult to hear everything when you’re watching cute animals. You were certainly invested in making sure that dog got his furever home.
Another fun reaction, and I know exactly what you mean about the video being so absorbing you have to listen to the music separately. I have to say my absolute favourite bit is when Adam has both Titus and Austin waving their heads from side to side, following the dog treat in his hand, and the way they all crack up and stop singing along. I think they decided that any film where the animals behaved was good enough, even if the humans weren't quite as spot on as usual.
Isn't it great how Home Free does what you would expect. This is so nice, sweet and also sad in the beginning! Great that they gave animals the attention and the role! They send a very important message.!! 💞 It hurt me to see that dog looking for a home. Unfortunately, this often happens when a dog is put aside. I cry ! My dog passed away a year and a half ago and I still miss him so much. But due circumstances I can't get another dog so beautifully sung with great harmonies and background sounds, the bone-feeling bass and incredible beatboxing
Thank you for acknowledging that this is a tear-jerker of a video (even though it *does* have a happy ending). Made a similar comment on H.F's original, and got people trying to convince me I'm wrong. It's the emotional roller-coaster that gets to me. 🐶♥
Thanks for the great review! Dexter didn't escape the shelter. He ran away from home. Happens to old dogs, when the kids get older. He watches the family walk by. The football by the door is a clue that the child who loved him has grown up and on to different things. On return, Dexter goes through the front door to a new bowl, new toys, and lots of love. The old adage, you never know what you have until you've lost it,applies here!
Please listen to the end as their outro is so cool encouraging support for an animal charity. I love that they used some of their own fur babies in the making of this video.
Phil Everly of "The Everly Brothers" wrote this, he & his brother Don recorded this first. Linda Ronstadt covered this in the summer of 1975, it was our courting or dating song, we still have this on a 45. On August 8th we celebrated our 47th Anniversary. Words can't express how much I love this song. Thank You Home Free for the upgrade to this special song. They did a fantastic, awesome job.
Absolutely, loved your reaction! Home Free and their fur babies are just adorable. Rupp and Titus had me in giggle fits, just pawsome! 😹🐾🐶 I like this reaction style for HF videos, so we can catch Rupp’s amazing beats and HF stellar vocal harmonies as well as their awesome storytelling in videos. Full of Cheer is my favorite for original song and video; written by Tim and video directed by The Hound + The Fox, so much fun! 😂
Lately their videos have been so fun to watch it's like the song is incidental. Had to listen without watching to get the song experience, same with Brother. The video is heart string pulling. Love when Mason pops his reaction in. I remember Linda Ronstadt's version when growing up. Love your videos, love you too, Mortius. Keep up the good work.
GOD Bless HOME FREE for making everyone aware of the strong bond between pets and humans and also make us aware of the wonderful non-profits that work for the good of all of us humans and animals. The first time I heard and fell in love with this song was when I heard Linda Ronstadt cover it after The Everly Brothers in 1960. I lve that Tim and Austin brought all their fur babies with them too.
I new you would love this and would include your baby in the reaction. Another one where the video is so captivating you have to go back several times to to listen to the words and vocals. Great reaction to another great video by Home Free.
See that the hang-over effect of VP is still in situ,😄 Was glad when watching that, that I knew you would meet with lots of cuddleness in this one. Did you catch that the lost dog found a loving new home? Most of the cats I had in my life have been rescue animals. Still got one.🐈 Love your reactions Mortius.
What a great song & message. I Love that Home Free is showing love for our furry friends & promoting an animal charity. Many need homes & need to be loved. Animals are great medicine & can help those with mental health issues. "When Will I Be Loved" was written & recorded by the Everly Brothers in 1960. Linda Ronstadt covered the song in 1975.
Look Mortius, Home Free treats all of our senses everytime, smell, taste, touch, hearing and visual with every video/vocal release, they are the full package, and nobody is better about this then Home Free. They really do their homework about capturing every aspect of the human experience with a well thought out gameplan to reach down in our vested inherent emotional souls to embrace our fellow mankind with a very positive experience. Our hearts were tugged today once again by Home Free>>>>>..... You were bitten today....❤🩹😺🙀👃👅🙌👂👁❣
They had a nice message at the end. All the animals at the end are Tim’s and Austin’s. The others have their animals at their homes in MN or L.A. I liked how they linked the lyrics to homeless animals. It was Dexter’s jailbreak from the shelter that lead to eventually finding a home. I thought it was so cute. Loved Tim’s low notes at the end. Good reaction Mortius. Your doggie is really cute. 😀
@@babyfry4775 the cage would be full size if it was a pound. The people walking by were the mom, dad, and young adult. By going through the front door instead of the back, they showed how much they loved Dexter.
@@nanadeborah8717 I can understand your opinion but I still think this was about shelter pups and kitties and he went on a quest to find a loving owner. But no matter. It still works.
@Baby Fry In the video, we see the (human) Legs walk out the door, which the camera lingers on to let us see it didn't shut all the way, then we see Dexter go out the *same door,* which we can recognize by the same *household items* next to it: the table with the bowl, the white shag throw rug, the blue football; it really does look like a dog running out the front door of a private home, not a shelter. Later we see the Legs return, and what looks like the reaction of any dog owner: the shocked pause at the open door, dropping everything to turn and run... It's your good heart making you believe a private home wouldn't fence off their own dog, but I believe the fence was to symbolize the reason Dexter ran away. From HOME.
I love getting on the rollercoaster with you. I hope you will do a reaction to the Hound and The Fox new Hades song. That one will be a wild ride too. Reilly said it's a very stripped down version with the most falsetto that he has ever used in a song.
