well, keep up the work
Great to know when to go back to clinical jobs. I have been back-and-forth with several jobs per diem not travel, never committed to one place in recent years. Kept wanting ped & adult experience I just started my third time (!) filling in temp with one site. I feel much different about it this time. If they give me what I want it might be the place I end up staying & maybe even full time …I was ready .
Yes I love that about our field. We can hop back and forth and always have job security
Where are you from
I have a lot of questions of becoming a travel speech language pathologist! I am really interested in learning about the job. Do you have an email or something I can reach out about?
Is the pay guaranteed? One of my biggest gripes with slp is we’re paid hourly and when our caseload is low so is our paycheck. I’m afraid to take a travel assignment and find out the facility only has like 10-20 hours of billable time and then I’m making what I could’ve made at my regular job. Thanks!
It depends on the contract. You want to look for jobs with a GWW (guaranteed work week) to ensure your hours don't get cut.
