If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
    Colossians 3:1 (KJV)

I really don't think that John 3:5 saying unless a man is born of water and Spirit he cannot enter the kingdom of heaven means that water is water baptism because water baptism isn't a requirement for salvation. A good example is the thief on the cross. 1 john 5:7 there are 3 that bear record in heaven the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit 5:8= there are 3 that bear record the earth the Spirit, the Water, and the blood. The water is the Father, the Spirit is the Holy Spirit, and the Blood is The Son. When you repent and believe you get the Father and Son and sometimes you get the baptism of the Holy Spirit but some get an indwelling of the Holy Spirit in believing in Christ. Acts 19:2 did you receive the Holy Spirit since you've believed ( in Christ)? There's more to salvation than just repentance and believing in Christ. There's a filling that takes place that the believer has power to overcome sin and power to witness for Christ that teaches us all things.

Acts 2:38 says repentance and baptism are required for the forgiveness of sins , there cannot be any salvation unless we are forgiven.
Many use the thief on the cross to justify there is no need for repentance nor baptism in water - that is only a justification if you are a thief on a cross
1 John 5:7 is an interesting verse which many have debated, - I challenge you where else in the Bible is the Father referred to as water ?.
Jesus is the source of living water just look at 1 John 5:6 There is one who came by water and blood - Jesus Christ ......
The water in 1 John 5:7 is not the Father, water, blood and Spirit are all references to the testimony of Jesus who came down from heaven and made his dwelling amount us
It is Jesus who shed his blood, as a living sacrifice , that we may be forgiveness and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit if ..........we repent and are baptised

@@DavidWatsonChannel who says that water baptism is needed for repentance? I got saved and filled with the Holy Spirit months before I got water baptized. Look at the Italian Cornelius, he received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and repented and saved before water baptism. Water baptism is something that you do so it's a work. The bible says that we are saved by grace through faith not of works lest any man should boast ephesians 2:8-9. It's not required, it shows the devil and the world that are fead in Christ and the old has passed. In the wilderness Christ is the rock that followed Isreal and what came out was the Father. Out of your belly shall flow rivers of living waters which the knowledge and words of the Father. The Holy Spirit is just the tool to bring forth the Father. So when Christ was on earth doing the miracles was His power and words He was speaking as himself as God?. Christ made Himself a little lower than the angels and did everything through the Holy Spirit and spoke what the Father wanted Him to say. He was the first to do what we can do through the Holy Spirit. Christ says even greater works will you do john 14:12. What we speak is the Father says to speak and speak about Christ as Lord through the Holy Spirit

@BatYAH2015 to say that the Holy Spirit is like a tool or the transmission that does the actions of the Lord is not blaspheming the Holy Spirit. To blaspheme the Holy Spirit is to give the credit to the wrong party technically. If we are saved we do good works but the works don't save us. If works are required then it's no longer a gift

Baptism in water is the marker of discipleship, and commitment made after repentance to testify to that repentance. As for the thief on the Cross it was a special case act of mercy. If you study God's Word you will find only the baptized qualify as disciples

@davidrunnacles9413 really? I repented and believed and filled ( baptized in the Holy Spirit) 6 months before I got water baptized. What about the Iranian women in jail right now getting saved? They're not saved? Water baptism is considered a work because it's something you do to honor God but like all works we do we aren't saved by works. If we are saved we will do good works because we are saved but it doesn't make us saved. All the conversions in the Bible people were saved before they were Water baptized.
